Murder Spider? Is that a Latcher or a Charybdis? Either way, yes. Also if you stand in the mouth and the sub gets hit from the back, you can go flying out the front. :3
I suggest running Barotraumatic or Let Them All In mod, both allow all creatures inside the sub, for the best experience.

Nope, wanted it to be balanced, so there is no help from the sub when you are fighting things in the mouth. :3

The first sub I ever built, which was 4 years ago, has a scooping mouth. Came up with the idea right after traits update when medics had to kill the thing themselves and not use the subs guns, in order to get genetics from looting the bodies.

Ballast pumps are connected. Depth charge needs a button, which I left open for the Engineer to do. This sub has gotten through an entire campaign before upload. You got this.

It is bot friendly, though there is one spot next to where the Cargo meets the glass next to the reactor that the bots like to get stuck on welding. If you fix it, they will get back to work.

It's meant to be a direct upgrade from my first sub I ever built, Neptune's Teeth, which is also a fish shape. This one has a little more room for some extra things that my first one, did not.

Agreed, this is the best of my subs on the workshop so far. I have a husk/Listener sub and a Clown/Singer sub coming out in the next couple weeks that are, IMO hands down the best subs I have made to date.

i think this best ship you made to date i think the captain should have access to the guns as well so they can defend the sub while SO's are blasting boarders to bits

some discharge coils in the mouth would be fun too
