Gerrymon  [author] 23 Jul @ 6:51am
temporary update to make this mod works like before (regular DBH compatible by replacing the textures), until I figure out what I like to do with it (also need to wait DBHfM to update)
Godsuya 20 Jul @ 3:17am
dont know much about coding so i might be wrong about it not causing any issues :D
Godsuya 20 Jul @ 3:17am
i mean, if its just retexture i dont think it will cause issues if ppl remove it mid-playthrough like other mods.

So ppl who do progression can just remove the mod.
Gerrymon  [author] 20 Jul @ 12:02am
Alright, how will we do the retextures? Because if we just replace em, those with progression run will sometimes want the original visual. But if I make it style (if it's even possible), people will need ideology dlc
Ninjaxas 19 Jul @ 6:07am
Nice! I am also vouching for the main DBH.
Patriote 17 Jul @ 9:43am
I BEG YOU
Scarlytte 11 Jul @ 3:44pm
main DBH compatability please!!!!!!
Godsuya 11 Jul @ 1:37pm
Yes, please make one for main DBH!
MercuryRiver 10 Jul @ 6:47pm
I second the request for it to support main DBH, I play multiple saves of different kinds and just toggle lite mode on and off, wish I could always have these textures without having to switch to a whole new mod. Also these textures would go better even with my modern colony actually, rustic and nice like a hot spring business
thesoupiest 8 Jul @ 1:47pm
This mod made my latrine a giant 3x3 structure more suitable for elephant bathrooms
Gerrymon  [author] 8 Jul @ 1:28am
DBH standard is supported via "DBH for Medieval" addon (because why would you use this on modern colony), but for now this only works on its lite mode
Deggial 8 Jul @ 1:21am
Would it be possible to create a version of this mod that uses DBH "Standard" instead of "Light"?
I like what I see here (by the way, where do the large tiles surrounding the pool come from?) but I don't want to subscribe to two different versions of DBH.

The more futuristic armatures wouldn't need to be supported as they won't appear anyway due to tech-limiting.
Gerrymon  [author] 7 Jul @ 5:47pm
Will do will do, when my works ease up a bit
Autismus Maximus 7 Jul @ 4:23pm
Needs a retexture for the well/ pump as well, maybe for the water tower / hot water storage
Aside from that, great mod
Gerrymon  [author] 7 Jul @ 6:39am
7/7 update: Added partial retextures for "DBH For Medieval" so it uses its objects instead of hijacking modern toiletries. Only works on regular DBH's lite mode for now tho.

And the latrine is always on the correct size for me. Are y'all sure you put this mod BELOW medieval overhaul?
find the manager 7 Jul @ 4:52am
sadly no medieval overhaul for 1.6 yet :(
meow 5 Jul @ 11:13pm
finally someone did this, amazing work ♥
rhyndo 4 Jul @ 8:31am
@germfire yes it's just textures. Doesn't affect VFE medieval at all
germfire 4 Jul @ 8:28am
is this compatible with VE Medieval 2?
Sumatris 4 Jul @ 1:08am
Cool stuff! All it needs for perfection is the whirlpool requiring four pawns standing around it to blow the bubbles into it, Robin Hood - Men in Tights style :-).
Gottfried of Bouillon 3 Jul @ 5:15pm
Hi friend, incredible mod, thank you! By the way, the problem is not solved by your method below, I have tried everything, the toilet is just huge
simpolplan 3 Jul @ 3:35am
Love the entier idea of the mod espacially that I am starting a medieval playthrough. But yes the lactrine are huge! tried changing the xml but no luck for me.
Gerrymon  [author] 2 Jul @ 5:51pm
Hrrnnngh damn MO messing up with these. I'll look for the fix, meanwhile anyone that want immediate fix can delete or alter MO's patch causing these issues.

1.5 > Mods > DubsBadHygieneLite > Patches > DBH_MOTexture.xml

Inside the xml, just change the PitLatrine/WashBucket's drawsize to 1.1, 1.1 (or delete its whole operation tag if you know what you're doing)
Kayawolf 2 Jul @ 2:02pm
my game also gives me the giant textures.. ive tried multiple different loading orders, but none give me regular sized textures. its currently loading after both MO and DBH lite, still giant. im on 1.5 btw
Gerrymon  [author] 2 Jul @ 7:57am
@keko bleibt: its ruined castle floor from MO iirc

@MDiddy: have you load this mod after MO? It should fixed the size issue, at least thats the case for me
MDiddy 2 Jul @ 7:17am
I want to use this so bad but I can't fix the giant textures to save my life.
keko bleibt keko 2 Jul @ 6:14am
Which floor texture mod are you using around the pools in the screenshots?
miliyx 2 Jul @ 3:33am
ty 4 fix bro
メラノCC 1 Jul @ 12:28am
Ty for fix :steamhappy:
Gerrymon  [author] 30 Jun @ 8:03pm
@メラノCC: Fixed! Toilet now moved plumbing research (like basin and bath tub). I can't believe I missed that one, sorry everyone!

@Potato Gaming: Generally, texture mods are auto-compatible so I just tag everything in batch rather than waiting for the requisites to update until I forgot about it.
Potato Gaming 30 Jun @ 4:31pm
i don't get it, why are some mods 1.6 before the needed mod updates, its like putting an enhanced worm in a rotten apple, the apple is old and the enhanced worm is new, they don't mix, unless the apple is new.
メラノCC 30 Jun @ 5:38am
oh the toilet is not medieval age tec. Its industrial.
メラノCC 30 Jun @ 5:29am
How can i build toilet? I cant find toilet and research. Is the toilet medieval ?
Gerrymon  [author] 30 Jun @ 2:06am
I mostly play medieval, so no. If you like a more HD texture you can try https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3125246043 , tho make sure this mod load after it so the medieval stuffs are not overridden.

Soil is call plowed soil from... MO iirc? and you made it from order tab, not floor tab
CheifCommissar 29 Jun @ 11:16pm
These are so much better then the regular textures, would you do a version with the modern toilets, etc? Also what mod has the tilled fields in the previews?
Bodacious Cowboy 29 Jun @ 4:33pm
If you open Medieval Overhaul's patch for DBH and change the draw size for the latrine to (1,1) it fixes the huge latrine issue.
evil yaoi wizard 29 Jun @ 10:22am
no matter the position i order the mods, the tub and latrine are still really big?
uwu1004 29 Jun @ 9:53am
This is exactly I've been waiting for!! DBH for medieval is cool but it was bothersome to boil the water pots every single time when my pawns use the bath and etc. And Thank god, I've found this amazing retexture!! Thank you so much!!
Gerrymon  [author] 29 Jun @ 6:43am
@EFX sorry, not really sure what do you meant? DBH Lite don't have plumbing (which is why I can go creative with these designs). But it's an integral feature on regular DBH, so it's not simple to patch them out. Again, if you want a progression mod, "DBH for Medieval" does a good job for that.
EFX 29 Jun @ 6:34am
IIRC isn't the plumbing need somewhere in the XML files? Couldn't you just take it out?
Gerrymon  [author] 29 Jun @ 5:24am
@Deon Yes, its actually MO's fault, which is what I talked about in the description
Deon ☣ 29 Jun @ 5:22am
Sadly it makes the toilets and such 2 times bigger. I assume something broke in the patch? I use Medieval Overhaul Continued.
Gerrymon  [author] 29 Jun @ 3:29am
Ya know what, fine, I'll see if I can retexture DBHfM contents as well, so ya'll get progression stuffs. Might as well make use of it since I can't code to save my life
Gerrymon  [author] 28 Jun @ 4:26pm
I have no idea how to dp that... Probably best to ask the progression team for that
Annabellee 28 Jun @ 1:11pm
Wait, could you have done it when you reach a certain tech, it changes back to dubs normal textures? like how dubs handle the waterbottles
tanyfilina 28 Jun @ 12:37pm
Thank you for the information about that mod, I've waited for something like that for long!
Gerrymon  [author] 28 Jun @ 10:05am
Thats what "DBH for Medieval" did, so I'm less inclined to do that too. On top of that I don't use the regular version anymore, so I'll be wasting my time and energy.
tanyfilina 28 Jun @ 9:02am
You could use this same textures to make a version for Regular DBH, but adding this objects as earlier versions, requiring some additional medieval tech.
McLets 28 Jun @ 8:25am
why is this marked as 1.6
Pheace 28 Jun @ 8:22am
loving this despite not doing medieval
