I hope you don't think I'm being long-winded, but can you make an automatic proselytizing function?
Tommy高富帅 11 Jul @ 11:08am
Hello there, dear modder!

I was thinking a corruption threshold would be just amazing for Incantations. Without it is quite unusable for this very niche Ideology. If there is a source code pack somewhere, I can attempt to add this feature, then you could include it in this mod. :)

Love! :girlhand:

Amazing mod! I would love it if it had an icon for the bottom bar, so it paired with vanilla textures expanded
jkuk3 6 Jul @ 3:19am
I have four pawns in my colony and set the minimum number of colonists to begin a ritual to 4. However, they often begin a ritual without a pawn, going with only 3... I wonder if this behavior is an intended feature or not. (I do have a lot of mods in my playthrough so I can't tell) Thanks for the great mod btw.

Your efforts have not gone unnoticed

Nice idea for a mod! Looking forward to trying it.

Any support for Anomaly Psychic Rituals yet? Auto-Skip Abduction could be useful, as would Auto-Chronophagy (assuming I can set min age for the target).

Uhh, I started a Christmas party on the table, and when it ended, the whole thing burned down lmao. I thought the game wouldn’t even let me do that.

Several bugs have been fixed and new features added. Colonists can now dance at the lightball, and you can limit the number of colonists participating in the ritual!
Monbland 2 Jul @ 4:22pm
I always forget to do these rituals, really, everything lies on the shoulders of the colonists
JACK 2 Jul @ 12:33pm
I agree with the previous comment!
TheSpookiestSkeleton 2 Jul @ 11:27am
I miss the daily sermons from Rim Of Madness: Cults
RonnieNorth.ttv 1 Jul @ 9:59am
Figured it out! I am just big dumb.
RonnieNorth.ttv 1 Jul @ 8:59am
@Re_zin Ahhh I see! In this case it was a bonfire festival. They automatically chose my altar, it got replaced by a giant bonfire in my church LOL it was hilarious
Re_zin  [author] 1 Jul @ 8:50am
@RonnieNorth.ttv
What is it that you want to assign it to? Some rituals need to be assigned to specific buildings, like a sarcophagus.
RonnieNorth.ttv 1 Jul @ 8:32am
I'm so sorry if this is obvious or has been answered, but how can I choose a ritual spot? I click "assign" and then try to target a ritual spot, but nothing happens
MC Honk 1 Jul @ 7:47am
Oh, man, I have been looking for a mod like this for ages! I'm tempted to fire up my last save to play with this before 1.6 drops
Re_zin  [author] 1 Jul @ 6:16am
@月空
The light ball is a sub-building used for rituals, but it's not a ritual spot itself. So if you want to start dance party automatically, make sure to choose a ritual spot that's placed near the light ball.
月空 1 Jul @ 4:17am
thanks,One problem is that lightball cannot be chosen as a ceremony spot; however, the dance party needs it.

@月空
I'm not sure what you mean, but if you're asking whether it can be translated using RimWorld's translation system — yes, it already works with it.
月空 29 Jun @ 11:55pm
will there be translation interface to support?
moo 29 Jun @ 9:31pm
I have a soft-fix, I can reduce the number of pawns at a ritual by having my own policy that only assigns <20% mood pawns to the ritual. This means I keep most of my colony taskable.
moo 29 Jun @ 7:43pm
1.6
Re_zin  [author] 29 Jun @ 7:39pm
@moo
Are you playing on version 1.5 or 1.6? I've seen sky lantern bugs on 1.5 but not yet in 1.6.
moo 29 Jun @ 7:31pm
That's fair. I'll add it in the discussion thread
Re_zin  [author] 29 Jun @ 7:28pm
@moo
Pawns participating in a ritual cannot normally be drafted. Also, in vanilla RimWorld, only resting pawns can be tended, so it's difficult to reproduce the issue directly. If you attach the error log, I can take a closer look, but it's most likely caused by another mod.
Re_zin  [author] 29 Jun @ 7:17pm
@moo
Since I haven’t done enough testing yet, I truly appreciate your feedback. The logs you uploaded are related to the Sky Lantern ritual — that bug has already been reported in vanilla RimWorld, so it’s not a top priority for me at the moment. However, the other bugs and your suggestions will be reviewed within the next few days. Thanks again for your comments!
moo 29 Jun @ 6:50pm
Sorry for the stacked comments - somehow the ritual ended with 0/6 participants
moo 29 Jun @ 6:41pm
I also tried to use a participating (not leading) pawn to do some tending on another pawn, and the log threw up when i right-clicked the pawn that needed tending. I also can't draft them (dunno if that's intended or vanilla).

May or may not be this mod.
moo 29 Jun @ 6:37pm
/ pawns that haven't already participated recently
moo 29 Jun @ 6:37pm
Awesome to see spacing between the rituals. I agree with @eemzal, to have only the respective ideo pawns be tasked for their own rituals
Eemzal 29 Jun @ 11:21am
Oooh this is a really cool mod! One thing I'm wondering is if it would be possible to add Ideoligion as a participation requirement, so that way multicultural colonys can have each group do their own things
Darian Stephens 29 Jun @ 11:15am
@Re_zin
The rituals are totally normal, the only thing you have to do manually that's extra is to bring everyone to the floor you want to do the ritual on.
Wolfy 29 Jun @ 5:29am
Oooh this will be great for my superstitious peasant sermons during my next medieval run.
Re_zin  [author] 29 Jun @ 4:22am
@Darian Stephens
Does MultiaFloors guarantee full compatibility with Ideology and other mods? This mod relies on the vanilla Ideology system. If full compatibility is ensured, I might consider it. But if not, I won’t.
Re_zin  [author] 29 Jun @ 4:12am
@A Startled Froggo
It’s a sad story. While disable specific pawns is being considered, the method of implementation is still under review.
Darian Stephens 29 Jun @ 3:21am
Would it be feasible to add support for MultiFloors, if you don't have it already?
Having it automatically gather pawns on the designated floor for the ritual before doing it, so everyone can participate.
A Startled Froggo 29 Jun @ 2:49am
Fantastic mod, does exactly what I wanted!
I do have to ask though, is it possible you could forbid certain pawns from roles?
I just had a gladiator fight happen and it chose one of my pawn's pregnant wife as a fighter vs my melee god.
....
It went exactly as you think
....
moo 29 Jun @ 12:00am
ooh! I'll readd and check it out tomorrow
Re_zin  [author] 28 Jun @ 11:49pm
@moo updated!
moo 28 Jun @ 10:31pm
If you are, thanks. Consider adding a select-random or a select-weighted choice to which ritual is executed and that'd be boss
Re_zin  [author] 28 Jun @ 10:10pm
@moo Clearly, consecutive rituals are unnatural. I'll consider modifying it.
qaz9436 28 Jun @ 10:09pm
What a nice!
moo 28 Jun @ 10:06pm
Ah I see. I enabled all rituals across like 8 ideos and expected a break between them.
KingsMan_ 28 Jun @ 9:48pm
바다강아지! 머냐구
Re_zin  [author] 28 Jun @ 9:44pm
@moo There's no auto add rituals. just auto starting.
Once an ritual starts, the same event will start 1-3 days later. How many rituals are there?
moo 28 Jun @ 9:21pm
Bug - rituals chain instantly - no break between multiple ones
moo 28 Jun @ 9:18pm
Like when ideologies are introduced/removed from a colony?
