For some reason, my screen gets really bright when I use beast form. Could be conflicting with another visual mod i'm using. The only one I have enabled just boosts the saturation in the game though. Could you add a way to enable/disable the night vision you gave them?

Yeah this requires Dawnguard, ran tes5Edit and it ctd'd when it tried to load Dawnguard

Seeing red when your about to die would be neat.

It crashes my game on startup? Does it require any DLC?

Prepare_to_be_Parkbenched,
Thank-you for your suggestions. I had already been considering making sunlight uncomfortably bright (as the creation kit allows me to differentiate between light that comes from the sun and other sources) for vampires but thought it was so obvious that Beth probably already had something like this going on. If that's not the case, and Beth hasn't done anything in the way of Imods for vampires besides night-eye, I'll definitely work it in.

I haven't seen any of these normally yet, but I'm still installing.

I didnt realize someone else had brought this up, and the idea of a true dog-sight option sounds very nice to me, even though I rarely use my beast form.

The Hungry Llamerican,
CreepingDarkness mentioned this to me on the Nexus site. Despite knowing that dogs being colourblind is a myth, I chose to go with black-and-white for aesthetic and immersive reasons. I may look into including a dichromatic (true dog-vision) option in the future, though.
KingOfMidgard 18 Dec, 2014 @ 2:06pm
Dogs can see color. While we can't ask dogs to read an eye chart or pick out colors, behavioral tests suggest that dogs see in shades of yellow and blue and lack the ability to see the range of colors from green to red. In other words, dogs see the colors of the world as basically yellow, blue, and gray. And yes, I quoted half of that from somewhere. I forget where, I just have it saved to point this out to people.

How i can get it?
Jinxie  [author] 16 Dec, 2014 @ 1:20pm
lr5hade,
That sounds to be the same issue that living20 jr encountered. My instinct here is that you are both using mods which make use of the werewolf feeding magic effect for something other than werewolves (in your case vampires and in his, raw chicken). I should be able to remember this myself but for now can you think of any mod you are using which may be toying with the effects of feeding either as a vampire or otherwise?

I drank blood as a vampire now my screens for ever red
matut 15 Dec, 2014 @ 11:43am
@Fang,
it says so in the categories, maybe people just can't read :P
Tusk 13 Dec, 2014 @ 8:32pm
Hey, I really like this mod and I love the work you've already done on it, but I have one or two suggestions. Firstly, an effect on transforming into a vampire would be really cool if that's feasible. Secondly, enemies could glow when Khajiit use their racial power. Great job though. It really adds to the immersion factor.

If this mod rely on Dawnguard maybe you should put that into the description?
StayAway 13 Dec, 2014 @ 5:18am
i like this mod.Could you do something like add a screen effect for Shouting? because just having the screen move a little is kinda bland.

how long till the next update
Jinxie  [author] 11 Dec, 2014 @ 5:45pm
DOCTOR NICK and Randero,
You do not have Dawnguard installed. See Red is currently Dawnguard dependant and I'm afraid that until the next update rolls out you will not be able to use this mod without that DLC installed. That is why you are experiencing crashes before even loading the game. I am glad we could get to the bottom of this problem but am sorry nonetheless for it.
Randero 11 Dec, 2014 @ 4:04pm
I have something like 130~ mods installed that all somehow seem to work without chaos ensuing, and See Red is also causing that bug for me, which was weird. I had just gone on a modding spree with a bunch of map additions and extra quests, so I thought surely it was them but nope, its definately See Red. I also have no DLC for the record.
average rustmite 11 Dec, 2014 @ 1:03pm
wet and cold, wet and cold holidays, and the hearthfires DLC
Jinxie  [author] 11 Dec, 2014 @ 12:48pm
DOCTOR NICK,
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing crashes with my mod. Thing is, See Red is far too simple at this point to be causing that issue alone. Do you have other mods installed? If so, would you mind providing a list? There may be an incompatibility with one of them. More likely, though, is that the addition of just one more mod has agrivated a pre-existing issue with your load order.
average rustmite 11 Dec, 2014 @ 11:50am
when i launch the game with this it crashes as soon as i get to the main menu
Jinxie  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 6:51pm
living20 jr,
Thank-you for the information. However, based on how the redness of your screen increases with each raw chicken eaten, I'm inclined to disbelieve that your problem is the fault of See Red. Although I claim no infalibility, my imagespace modifiers do not stack like that. To start, I think multiple iterations of the same modifier overwrite each other anyway, but to be on the safe side my scripts deliberately cancel potentially pre-existing imods before applying new ones. In short; my imods can only make your screen red, they can't make your screen more red when applied twice.
I'm not washing my hands of this, though. Keep me posted on your progress in case there's something I can do to help or it turns out I'm wrong. To save me some time, maybe you could consider uninstalling all other mods, starting a new game and seeing if the problem persists with just See Red installed?
Fury Road Warrior 9 Dec, 2014 @ 2:08pm
Good idea here!
Dukhxristov 9 Dec, 2014 @ 2:01pm
the weird thing was the more raw chicken i ate the more my screen turned red
Dukhxristov 9 Dec, 2014 @ 1:54pm
idk ill try it may have been because i had the ineed mod if not ill let you know when i can
Jinxie  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 1:24pm
living20 jr,
Eating raw chicken breast doesn't reproduce this bug for me. Are you sure See Red was at fault? Since reinstalling, can you now eat raw chicken without the bug occurring?
Dukhxristov 9 Dec, 2014 @ 12:20pm
and i had to uninstall it to fix it then re install it
Dukhxristov 9 Dec, 2014 @ 12:19pm
it was chicken breast raw
Jinxie  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 8:59am
livingh20 jr,
Thank-you for bringing this to my attention. I already have suspiscions about what might be causing your problem and a couple ideas on how to fix it but it would help me out a lot if I could recreate the bug for myself to see. To help me with that, would you mind specifying the food item(s) you ate to make the screen go red? I'm afraid "raw meat" was a litle too vague for me to pinpoint the culprit myself.
For now, though I sincerely hope you reloaded an earlier save to get rid of the red-screen, the console command 'teofis' might give you some peace at the expense of also disabling other Imods.
Dukhxristov 9 Dec, 2014 @ 1:06am
I think i found a bug i eat raw meat and my screen turned red and it wont go away and its been while can some 1 help me with that?
ErisVito 8 Dec, 2014 @ 6:28pm
This mod looks very promising! I'm going to try it out on a Redguard playthrough. Thank you for your time!
ClusterMorph 8 Dec, 2014 @ 1:33pm

Vergil 6 Dec, 2014 @ 12:35pm
For what Vampire power, Embrace of Shadows could maybe have a purple overlay.
Just a suggestion.
Nocnoc 6 Dec, 2014 @ 10:21am
If you will do this for Vampres it will be AWESOME!!!
Erunon 5 Dec, 2014 @ 10:54pm
