Are the initial pods of these guys just supposed to be one guy? I've noticed with LWOTC and ted jam that they tend to show up by themselves. The mission counts are correct, (10-12 expected, it's 10-12), but they often these units are just on their own. Is that expected?

Man I really hope you can do something similar for this mod package. Iridar never continued with this project, but it has some much potential, if ADVENT having pilotable Mechs.

Update to the bug report: apparently Elite Torchers CAN grapple on XCOM. It was probably a missed roll-to-hit then?

I added this mid campaign, so that may attribute to the issues I'm having, but some of them are spawning without any weapons?

Small bug report for the Elite Torcher in "vanilla" LWOTC, I had one target a unit from near max range (~18 tiles) with an ability that played the grapple animation but didn't move him. He overwatched afterward. They might see XCOM as valid grapple targets in certain situations?

oh yeah. these heavy armored guys really my arch enemys.only with the goc weapons i can handle (i think once i had 8 of them at the start of a mission xD)

honestly onyx it would be cool to see some expansion of an existing enemy mod from claus, atleast more custodian related stuff i love those guys

I've seriously been thinking of new Advent unit variants with Claus' cosmetics (which I would try to make if I had the programming know-how), but it's cool to see these assets being used again :terminated:

Ideally, all the enemies mentioned would fit the classic color scheme of ADVENT (Black, Navy, Red and White) , Anyone who wants to use these ideas, take them for free haha.

- ADVENT OPPRESOR: Soldier with heavy looking armor with ammo backpack that uses a gatling gun, I know one exists in LWOTC enemy pack, but one that visually looks like a big ADVENT soldier carrying a heavy weapon, would look more visually cool.
- ADVENT TANK: Like the ones from the Avenger defense mission except fully functioning ones on the battlefield, (I believe a mod currently exists but is severely bugged sadly)
- ADVENT BATTLE MECH: Uses the same frame as the OG Mechtoid from Enemy Within except its ADVENT themed with an Advent soldier piloting the Mech.
- ADVENT VULTURE: A large gunship in the sky that, much like the one from the incredible REQUEIM mod, except bigger.
- Also, vehicles and enemies that look and inspired by ones from the equally incredible TAU EMPIRE mod, like the ‘Piranha Skimmer’, ‘Devilfish’, XV25 Stealth Battlesuit, XV22 Stealth Battlesuit, XV109 Y'vahra, etc

ADVENT MILTARUM:

- ADVENT SCOUT: Soldier with pistol, higher detection radius and mobility, a pain if in concealment, likes to flank XCOM soldiers.
- ADVENT MARSHAL: Soldier with pistol, has abilities like quickdraw and fan fire, scary in later levels.
- ADVENT WARDEN: Soldier with physical metal shield with a stun baton, dangerous at close combat with good defense due to shield.
- ADVENT ARGONAUT: Same as WARDEN except they carry a pistol and shield, provides cover for other units as it carries a shield.
- ADVENT TECHNICAN: Soldier with gremlin that can disable weapons as well as prevent abilities from XCOM soldiers per turn.
- ADVENT ENGINEER: Soldier with Gremlin that focuses as support role for ADVENT robotic units, can repair robotic units as well as use their engineering skills to provide buffs to their stats, like armor padding, accuracy, firepower and hack defense improvements.
