i dont feel like people should have to unsubscribe from the original mod. i stay subscribed because if/when they do update to 1.6 steam will update the mod and i will find out quicker, without having to check the modpage.

To deal with the duplication problem, u need to unsubscribe the original one, then find and delete that one with rimpy. Using rimpy, u can easily find two "HugsLib" in the rimpy mod list, then delete the mod folder of another "HugsLib".

For issues with it being named the same:
- Delete the original Huglibs until its updated.
- Edit the About.xml file using Notepad+
- Change <name>HugsLib</name> to <name>HugsLibtemp</name> so you can see its the temporary file.

Mod problems:
itself [duplicates: 1] of packageld [unlimitedhugs.hugslib] in Active and/or Inactive lists.

Maybe change/add the mod name to avoid errors

Velxra is right, if you plan to discontinue this mod, please consider making it private instead of removing it directly, as tens of thousands of players who cant wait for the original to update rely on it. o7

unsure if this is what you're looking for, but I HOPE it is. Here's the pastebin hopefully for the bug that other people have reported. Unable to load the map with your update on. Only had harmony and hugslib on, and I tested it afterwords removing hugslib and it works just fine. So it's definitely a hugslib thing

heads up for anyone on a silicon Mac using the additional mod to make harmony work on their system, this will completely overwrite that and stop it from working :\

Maybe you should have renamed the MOD... HugsLib - Temp until the original MOD is updated. I get confused as this MOD overwrites the original MOD.

Had issues loading maps without getting errors, then disabled this mod and it's been fine since. Really hoping that this is updated/patched sometime soon. I don't know what is causing this issue.

I havent had any map loading issues using this mod specifically, but I have noticed a few mods that do cause map generation error. This has been working fine for me so far, though.

This mod prevents the map from loading. Every other 1.6 mod that doesn't use Hugslib works fine, even tried it with just this mod - this mod needs a lot of fixing and this "update" doesn't work at all. Very sad.

I mean... Even whithout being updated in 2 years Rimpy works better than Rimsort. Most modders set their rules on his mods, no need for comunity load orders. Im constantly running rimworld with about 450 mods ordered with Rimpy without any problem.

At least you can execute it without being blocked by windows or file scanners...

Ya'll I've been using both mod sorting programs. I've mainly used RimPy without any issues for over a year. So, it's always makes me cringe when I see people swearing that one or the other absolutely doesn't work and the insist on using the other. If I remember correctly, I'm using RimPy right now, because something went wrong when I was using RimSort. if you run into trouble with Rimpy switch to RimSort. I'm sure if I switched back now, not remembering what the issues was, I wouldn't notice a difference. Just pick one and try it and don't be fanboys (girls? people?) don't be fan-people it's cringy.

To reproduce the failure, run my Storytime Mod with V1.6 . RW will never load, because it will crash to a black screen.

@horologium: its not a bug with duplicate ID. its usually used for temprorary mods as this allows for the originial to replace the temprorary one without throwing erros. for the game the change doesnt even happen

@Kupie : Elite Bionics Framework has not been updated to 1.6.

@horologium : A lot of mods look for this package id. I did not update it because the other mods will break.

This isnt technically a bug but this has the same packageID as the original mod and the error keeps torturing my ocd. would it be possible to tweak the packageID so they arent the same?

Using this and elite bionics framework make my debug actions menu not open
