Hey there, great addon again! Small question, is there a way to make the Default Idle voice lines more fitting? For example when a rebel meets Alex they say something fitting, I found a Half-life 2 mod for that. It would be also cooler to have general more fitting voice lines for example: "When this is all over, I'm gonna mate!" "You're talking to yourself again!" Alrighty, Well thank you for your input c: If you ever figure it out how to apply that gender voice line system / toggle option thingy I described earlier in my post before this one, In the future please do let me know.

while they are making the mod that you are using, they probably made the female characters "male" named so i really cant do anything about it, sorry.

Edit; With further testing it appears they spawn the same as normal HL2 civilians, With a random gender apon each spawn, Took me a while to hear 1 female vocal out of around 25 male vocals

Not sure of how you'd add a 3 setting toggle that would force either Male / female vocals that would force a vocal set onto whatever NPC is spawned with that setting enabled which would be helpful for Modded NPC's, Or default for standard HL2 npc's where it would match whatever gender spawn's.

I know it might be a big sounding ask (especially on my non mod maker end) But I intend it to be more like a hopeful addition suggestion, Rather then a demand or expectation. :steamhappy:

The Npc pack I am using is the: "The Ultimate 007 Heroes and Villains Playermodel Collection Pack"

I do believe they didn't properly gender the Npc's while making the addon, Since they all sound like men.

I did also try it with the standard HL2 Npc's and there voiceline's do correlate with there gender properly, So its not a problem with the mod itself. c:

well i just tried it and the voicelines are working for the gender they are, maybe you have a mod thats conflicting with it?

This is a nice little addon that fixes the ways Npc's act in some aspects, since they actually run away and hide in rooms, Compared to before when they just run a few steps ahead, They still do to a point but it seems noticeable better than vanilla :steamhappy:

But by any chance is there a way you could add a setting / Option to force the gender of the voiceline's ? Currently for me any female Npc I spawn (from a pack) Has male voiceline's, So If easily possible, And your willing to add it, I'd highly appreciated it if you could add such a thing c:

citizens still run away from zombies and gunshots even if they have any type of weapon in their hands, could there be any way to make it so that it checks if the npc has a weapon and if that is true then prevent the npc from running away and forcing it to fight/take cover and then fight?

this is pretty cool and yeah i agree half life 2 it self was limited by its engine but that is not a issue anymore after the 64bit update long ago for gmod and half life 2

Is nice, had these tested ona few maps. They do move, and act if provoked. Rebels I have not tested a lot, but they do move. Considering there is navmesh. Even if no navmesh, they will try and move, just not far. Still nice that it works. Seems lighter in addon weight compared to DRG, VJ, or anything else.
