Everyone has a different taste, but I like the idea you were going for here,

The light gray with the dark red/blue creates a harsh contrast that clashes. The color contrast also makes the star pattern texture feel very busy. I think this can be improved noticably by changing the colors. Maybe lean into orange/turquoise more to give it that warm 70s feel.
