@nanunak9 👍Yes, you're right! I just got done working on the Falling feature. It's extremely satisfying to toss a dozen shrieking people into a wall, killing them on impact..
@Zaccattack9 @frank530305 - Wow, you kids really impress me.. I've never seen your kind walk around on their hind legs before..
And no: The description is not AI-Generated. I just wanted to make it more readable with italics and emojis.
@wild west enjoyer @jaxbentleynovak — Yeah, PPG handles mods like this in a weird way... I’ll likely need to write a custom `Unload()` function to properly remove components from characters. The game wasn’t designed with global modifications in mind, unfortunately.
(Had to split my response into 3 separate messages due to Steam's 100 letter limit in messages.)
@Morve — Yes, saves that include humans with Gore Galore components (like `GoreManager` and `VoiceManager`) will become dependent on the mod. I’d recommend using 01 Studio’s “No Corrupted” mod to load your saves cleanly: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3127794599
@Profile name — 😄 That’s the spirit! I agree—something more terrifying would suit this game. Unfortunately, I don’t have high-quality samples like that yet. Happy Wheels was the closest fit for now.
@Wawa — I tried assigning default voices to specific characters, but it didn’t work at the time due to how PPG handles entity spawning. Once I get the more critical bugs out of the way, I’ll give it another shot.
@Ajay — 🙁 Yeah, sorry about that. I would’ve used a hook for limb crushing if one existed, but currently there isn’t one. So for now, deleting characters causes their limbs to burst by default. I’m working on a fix, but it’s a pretty involved process and will take time.
I guess I couldn't tell how poor they sound because of that, considering my Laptop's speakers. I'll see about tuning their volume more in the next update. Thanks for telling me about that.
What on earth did I just read?
