It's just a tad dark, to the point I cant see wolves but they can see me
propagandalf 14 Aug, 2020 @ 2:51am
Needs some configuration but a good mod at all

My first time using mods in skyrim and I'm great to have choosen so well - Pure Water+Weather are amazing mods, they not only turn the textures even better but they also can makes your games smoothly. I'm not crazy, my GPU and CPU are really OLD, and the vanilla game always have fps around 50 at maximum graphics, but with this 2 mods, i'm running skyrim at 55~60. It's visually better and fluid.
GREAT JOB @Laast and THX YOU.

does this mod also effect the blood sun effect? (whenever i try to darken the sun with auriel´s bow it looks a little bit pinkish/not black ad red anymore)
NugNug 1 Jan, 2018 @ 2:45pm
is this compatible with supreme storms?
droagan1 20 Sep, 2017 @ 3:37pm
hey do me a big favor and make a mod that lights up the night
Sephethus 28 Jun, 2017 @ 3:25pm
This mod crashes the game, I narrowed it down to this mod specifically, it crashes before I even get to the load screen.
Carcaroff 28 Feb, 2017 @ 11:02am
Cool, and i would keep it if only it didn't mess some things like: vampire's sight and candle pell...they are pretty useless in the dark, then no point into using this mod.
But the effect is very good...it's really dark, especially when cloudy weather, and when auroras happen, they look stunning.

merci super mod , totale immersion

Hey I found an vanila version of this amaizing mod on Nexus heres the link [www.nexusmods.com] just download the older version where it says only vanila version.
Hoarmurath 17 Aug, 2016 @ 6:17am
First you say absolutely zero performance loss, but then you say in a later paragraph that what you really meant was, "your PC can handle it if you can run the HD packs." Well, that's not exactly no performance impact, is it? Just be clear and sincere from the beginning, otherwise confused people will download the mod and have huge lag, and perhaps not suspect that this is the cause.

Is this mod still fully compatible with Enhanced Lights & FX 3.01? the Enhanced Lights & FX 3.01 update occured in March 7 2016 which the current version of this mod is over a year older. I noticed a change in the atmosphere of Southern Solstheim (Where all the ash from Red Mountain seasons Solstheim) after I updated Enhanced Lights and FX to 3.01, that made me think the update conflicts with this mod since it seemed to have modified the weather & atmosphere, but LOOT doesn't give me any errors or warnings between those plugins.

can i use this with the darker nights mod?
David Rose 11 Apr, 2016 @ 3:46pm
amazing mod! Thank you so much for your work on this!
cyan________ 22 Dec, 2015 @ 10:50pm
fucking dark.....iam something do at the night is very inconvenience
Mosstone 11 Sep, 2015 @ 5:20pm
Have you looked into making an MCM version of this mod where you can change the brightness from blinding to rediculously dark?
Mosstone 11 Sep, 2015 @ 5:14pm
Just letting you know, the nights still weren't anywhere near dark enough, on minimum brightness, for my preference so I put the Darker Nights mod above this one in the mod load order. Time will tell if I will change my mind the next time it rains.
Legend Crypt 28 Aug, 2015 @ 9:45pm
Is it possible for a non-dlc version?
<internet_instigator> 21 Aug, 2015 @ 9:13am
With brightness all the way down, and playing as a Khajiit, this should be interesting.
ciblue 30 Jul, 2015 @ 3:52am
Looks like your fraps video was compressed to a lossy degree. Are you able to upload a video with full rgb value (I understand that it can take up a lot of space)? Also, you may want to try making a 60fps version cause there was some youtube blurring.
asserius 6 Jul, 2015 @ 10:00am
This looks really fantastic, and I love playing Skyrim with a realistically dark night, as, obviously, there would have been little light pollution. Only problem I have is that your skydome doesn't extend down far enough. If you ever look out from a high elevation you can see where it the bottom of it and that completely breaks any immersion added to the game from this mod. Is it possible to see a change to that in the future?
TheMoondog107 26 Jun, 2015 @ 6:23pm
Why does it need DLC? I'm sure you can make a vanilla version.
aran321 3 May, 2015 @ 10:33pm
Can you make a vanilla edition?
Turbo 3 May, 2015 @ 5:06pm
thank you, makes vampire sight and torches useful. ive been spooked a few times by things chasing me in the dark
Laast  [author] 22 Apr, 2015 @ 1:49am
@Rainfade
yes it works with ELFX. Be sure to load Pure Weather after ELFX in your load order to prevent minor conflicts.
Rainfade 19 Apr, 2015 @ 2:42pm
Can someone please confrim that this works perefectly with "Enhanced Lights and FX", including both the interior and exterior option?? My question relates more to the exterior lighting option due to the fact that 'Pure Weather' also affects exterior lighting. thanking you in advance.
lord_pikachu 12 Apr, 2015 @ 6:32pm
people have prob already asked but will there be a version that doesnot require DLC, in the future :) :D:d2antimage:
BEARFORCEONE 10 Apr, 2015 @ 7:12pm
gives me reason to sleep or use clear skies at night (b/c the aroura makes it easier to see) also love the sunglare very pretty. cant imagine ever unsubbing- too good a mod
graevon 3 Apr, 2015 @ 12:44pm
I love this! Now torches finally have a purpose and sleeping through the night is finally useful other than sleeping bonuses.
Lesbian Knight 1 Apr, 2015 @ 3:55pm
The Nights look great now. Thank you! But I think there were a little bit too dark if its night and it rains. But all in all very good work and very good mod.
Clemonade 18 Mar, 2015 @ 9:27am
Is there a version that does not require the DLCs? There used to be one in the past but I think it got removed. I'm still using the old version but would prefer using one that is constantly updated.
P.S. I do not have the DLCs
xnzecn 17 Mar, 2015 @ 10:05pm
After installing this l found that skyrim just keeps rainning all day long for a few day in a row, feels like it never wants to stop.
Big Bear 17 Mar, 2015 @ 12:40pm
Is dragonborn required DLC?
Laast  [author] 6 Mar, 2015 @ 1:10am
@Wounded Lobster
Yeah I like making mods which ruin the graphics
Δ Cavedog 5 Mar, 2015 @ 10:32pm
This mod ruined my lighting. Unplayable, instant uninstall. I had no other lighting mods.
wilothy 19 Feb, 2015 @ 5:49pm
i'm certain this mod is conflicting with some other mods i have and is crashing my game. i'm trying to figure out which mods it doesn't agree with so i can use this, because it really looks great
The Quiet Cab 14 Feb, 2015 @ 10:05am
This mod is so great. I was running around at night on Solstheim only with a light buld and a sword completely losing every feeling of time and place. A wonderful experience in this game.
Zaros 1 Feb, 2015 @ 5:14am
what happens when i dont have dragonborn and i install the mod?
Ricardo Steve 17 Jan, 2015 @ 12:02am
This mod makes Skyrim very beauty
skannerz22 16 Jan, 2015 @ 3:43pm
am i going to be blinded on the snow like other mods? other mods makes the snow and sky all white i can't see what is snow and what is a rock..
Carlos Spicy Weiner 3 Jan, 2015 @ 2:48am
Works well with frostfall and wet and cold. Thank you! For some reason COT was pretty buggy with frostfall for me.
boobymilkerzzz 28 Dec, 2014 @ 1:56pm
O.O

The epicness shall commence.
Laast  [author] 28 Dec, 2014 @ 12:51pm
@SeventhTrumpet
yes
boobymilkerzzz 28 Dec, 2014 @ 10:49am
could this be combatible with Skyrim 2K?
Blackfire Valkryie 27 Dec, 2014 @ 7:45am
good mod the weather transition is much smoother. plus it was a nice touch letting it snow in Whitrun. npcs talk about it but never happened till now.
GimeUrFridChiken 26 Dec, 2014 @ 11:11pm
IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL <3
