Purity rocks! The clear sky, the landscape textures, the colour, drink-me water - it's top-notch. Thankyou for sharing your brilliant work =)
Also, the nights in Purity are very good. Dark enough to make you question whether to dive into an inn; not too dark to blind you. Purity + ELFX gives some amazing visuals - from distant fires shimmering over Lake Ilinata, to icy refractions over the cold, blue ocean. So much better than Climates of Tamriel - which puts sunglasses on your character.
Recommended.
Tinkering with my monitor settings might improve it. But I don't want to change them back for every game I play. I'll set in-game settings, but nothing else: and those sliders didn't help. I don't use other ENBs (yet).
Basically, I'm looking for a climate/weather mod that doesn't change gameplay. Dark nights are a gameplay change, so that's why it gets a thumb down. If I make nights bright enough, then some days become too bright.
I think your mod is awesome! I love the colours, the scenery, the mists, the rain! It's just not what I'm looking for. And obtrusive lens flare is unpleasant.
Maybe the problem is on your side? Maybe you should calibrate your display and set your brightness/contrast? Or remove your ENB if you are using one?
You really think I will make and share a mod used by dozens of thousands of people (over Steam and Nexus) if it is "unplayable" and too bright or too dark? Seriously guys.
The skies are amazing. The weather, beautiful. Combined with PURE water, Skyrim looks so sexy.
Sadly, it has issues. Nights are too dark - even though this is the "bright night" version. Lens flare around the sun is incredibly annoying at dawn and dusk. Lastly, there's super-bright days which blind you when walking around cities or snow, and make it impossible to enjoy the author's lovely sky.
Stay away from this one.
Sorry to see your Purity mod got pulled from Steam. I recieved a refund for it, but i don't really want it, i fully support moders who want to get compensation for their work... do you have a donate button somewhere? Optimally i'd like to give you some Steam Wallet founds as that's were i put the money originaly ^^
Nope it is included in Purity
I'm going to have to go back to vanilla for now.
Also, snow is meant to be bright, hence the term snow blindness. This dull bluish texture is unrealistic.
