Is there a submod for this mod that fixes the night? The modification is excellent, but at night in the open world it is simply impossible to see anything even with a torch or a light spell.

Will this mod ever be ported over to SE, or is there already another mod for SE that does what this one does?
Daktaras Blogis 3 Jan, 2019 @ 2:51pm
@Blazer Fury makes sense to me, you can't see much at night irl, can you? Just use night vision/light spells/torches
Raven 11 Feb, 2018 @ 8:52am

Purity rocks! The clear sky, the landscape textures, the colour, drink-me water - it's top-notch. Thankyou for sharing your brilliant work =)

Also, the nights in Purity are very good. Dark enough to make you question whether to dive into an inn; not too dark to blind you. Purity + ELFX gives some amazing visuals - from distant fires shimmering over Lake Ilinata, to icy refractions over the cold, blue ocean. So much better than Climates of Tamriel - which puts sunglasses on your character.

Recommended.

I will give it a try! Thanks

Give a try to Purity on Nexus, my latest weather overhaul. Pure Weather is no more supported anyway.
Lystraeus 15 Nov, 2015 @ 5:03am
@Laast

Tinkering with my monitor settings might improve it. But I don't want to change them back for every game I play. I'll set in-game settings, but nothing else: and those sliders didn't help. I don't use other ENBs (yet).

Basically, I'm looking for a climate/weather mod that doesn't change gameplay. Dark nights are a gameplay change, so that's why it gets a thumb down. If I make nights bright enough, then some days become too bright.

I think your mod is awesome! I love the colours, the scenery, the mists, the rain! It's just not what I'm looking for. And obtrusive lens flare is unpleasant.
Laast  [author] 15 Nov, 2015 @ 2:15am
@Lystraeus
Maybe the problem is on your side? Maybe you should calibrate your display and set your brightness/contrast? Or remove your ENB if you are using one?

You really think I will make and share a mod used by dozens of thousands of people (over Steam and Nexus) if it is "unplayable" and too bright or too dark? Seriously guys.
Lystraeus 14 Nov, 2015 @ 1:09pm
I want to like this mod. I really do.

The skies are amazing. The weather, beautiful. Combined with PURE water, Skyrim looks so sexy.

Sadly, it has issues. Nights are too dark - even though this is the "bright night" version. Lens flare around the sun is incredibly annoying at dawn and dusk. Lastly, there's super-bright days which blind you when walking around cities or snow, and make it impossible to enjoy the author's lovely sky.

Stay away from this one.

very cool mod! would love to have it darker inside keeps, caves and other dungeons as well :)
balloran 9 May, 2015 @ 1:54am
Purity is available for Free on the Nexus.
Brucey Boy 3 May, 2015 @ 5:13pm
The item is either marked as hidden or you do not have permission to view it. Can you let me get it again? Or EVERYone get it.. If so thanks. :D
Nami 2 May, 2015 @ 8:18pm
There is a little problem that started when i installed the mod, all the days are sunny and all nights are clear, no raining or snow or rain U.u
Stupendous Man [WDZ] 1 May, 2015 @ 8:23pm
Is ther a chance you'll bring purity back? Also would this be incompatible with Wet ad Cold?
Cousken 28 Apr, 2015 @ 12:17am
Yo!

Sorry to see your Purity mod got pulled from Steam. I recieved a refund for it, but i don't really want it, i fully support moders who want to get compensation for their work... do you have a donate button somewhere? Optimally i'd like to give you some Steam Wallet founds as that's were i put the money originaly ^^
Moon Man 25 Apr, 2015 @ 6:06am

Brilliant
Xaphora 16 Mar, 2015 @ 2:26pm
I would love this without the need for DLC....
yrmama 14 Mar, 2015 @ 2:19pm

Exodus 12 Jan, 2015 @ 8:29am
Subbed to this mod last night and played, it worked flawlessly so far, nights are exactly what the mod says sometimes real dark sometimes not, truly immersive. I had given up on weather mods but this will probably be permanent in my load order, thanks for your hard work and time making it.
_Ginger Snaps_ 9 Jan, 2015 @ 8:47am
Recommended. No performance loss. Graphics looks much more better. No "Thunder & Lightning" bothering as it appears on CoT mod. No crashes when Skyrim works properly. Nights are not too dark. Try also the "Longer Days" mod and set timescale to 15. For people that nights STILL too dark: Use your dragon shout for better weather^^. Thanks for this mod.
JTrevail 8 Jan, 2015 @ 2:31pm
Something is wrong with the sky when it is raining, just look up, it's even more obvious at night.
I'm going to have to go back to vanilla for now.

Also, snow is meant to be bright, hence the term snow blindness. This dull bluish texture is unrealistic.

Great mod.
LordofTheTacos!! 23 Dec, 2014 @ 5:12am
Great mod, but can be hard to see at night. Be sure to grab a torch
Zoe 20 Dec, 2014 @ 10:54am
great mod
HollyHawke54 18 Dec, 2014 @ 11:52am
I really like this mod. It adds to the atmosphere of the game without taking away from the lore. It also adds an air of mystery: it could be pitch-black one night and deep purple the next. Loads of fun and it gives me a reason to use my lantern mod! Well done.
Thunder Chief_11 17 Dec, 2014 @ 3:36pm
I was stoked until I saw it requires the DLC... guess I'll have to fork over the dough at some point
Kanantus 15 Dec, 2014 @ 10:01am
Great mod that works!
aran321 9 Dec, 2014 @ 3:14am
