Sure - feel free to use ns_salmon.dds or any of the other .dds files in [gfx/interface/icons/goods_icons/future]. The other ones I'd prefer to leave off-limits unless there's a specific one you're looking to use. I'll only ask that you credit me / this mod for the texture(s) used.

Can I use some of the icons in this mod like ns_salmon.dds in my Russian prestige goods mod?

Some of the new prestige goods aren't appearing - will push an update in the next 5-10 min to fix that.
apljee  [author] 10 Jul @ 4:35pm
- Omani Frankincense (Oman tobacco prestige good) added.
- Azulejo Tiles (Portuguese fine art prestige good) added. Ideally this would be porcelain but there are already three base game porcelain prestige goods.

Based on what I know, there are ~59 "slots" available for me to add new prestige goods, though some of the categories (ie telephones, aeroplanes, tanks) may be a little harder to fill than others. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to shoot.

- Greek olive oil (Greek wine prestige good) added. May change this to prestige groceries, but the use of vineyards as the production method made wine feel like the better base good. Open to feedback.
- Talaverra ceramics (Mexico) removed (base game has 3 ceramic prestige goods already) - mexican chocolate (sugar prestige good) added.
- Atlantic salmon removed from Maritimes (Nova Scotia/New Brunswick), now has Cape Breton Coal
- All countries belonging to the USCA (i.e. Guatemala, Honduras, etc) will have access to the Mahogany hardwood prestige good (in lieu of not being able to give them all unique prestige goods.)
- St. Johns Steam Tugs changed to Halifax Steamers
- Rioja Wines (Spanish wine prestige good) added.
- Fez Leatherworks (Morocco clothes prestige good) added. Open to feedback/suggestions on the name/good.
- Zastava Rifles (Serbian small arms prestige good) added. Ideally this would be artillery but there are already three base game artillery prestige goods.

Current list of changes and additions for the next update:

- Beaver fur changed to beaver pelt clothes, moved from fabric to clothes (HBC)
- Sea otter pelts removed to create room in fabric, Alaska now has salmon fillets (formerly Atlantic salmon)
- Quinoa added (Bolivian grain prestige good)
- Tonka beans added (Venezuelan coffee prestige good)
- Haitian vetiver added (Haitian luxury clothes prestige good - perfume.)
- Pampas beef removed due to base game overlap (River Plate Beef) - Yerba Mate (tea prestige good) now available to Argentina.
- After some discourse on reddit, maple syrup has been changed to maple sugar (sugar prestige good.) The maple syrup company will now be focused on wheat farms (using the citrus orchards PM) and food industries.
- Cuban cigars (Cuban tobacco prestige good) added.

I'm still planning on maintaining this version, I'm just removing a lot of the more redundant entries (i.e. countries like Grao-Para, USCA, Riograndese Republic, Iquicha, etc.) and consolidating some areas - I'm going to try to make this into a more "kitchen sink" style expansion of prestige goods until/unless the limit is changed. I'll still likely be doing regional packs, but those will come after I'm done with this mod.

ETA for next update is uncertain, but a mod like this is relatively simple so it shouldn't be too long of a wait. Changelog dump incoming (open to feedback):

Modular editions of the mod for specific regions is a great idea!
apljee  [author] 9 Jul @ 12:39pm
I'm thinking instead of worrying about the cap and trying to shoehorn all of the countries into one pack, I might instead just make this a more modular series (ie North America Prestige Goods, Central American Prestige Goods, etc.) so players can simply choose what regions they'd like to add flavour to. In the future when/if Paradox fixes the arbitrary limitation on prestige goods I'll likely merge them back together.
apljee  [author] 9 Jul @ 12:02pm
I think I've run into the problem - in a test game as Canada, I noticed that the HBC (Furs) was producing sea otter pelts instead of beaver furs (though beaver furs did show as their prestige good, they just weren't being produced in any capacity.)

That is indeed somewhat disappointing. I'll keep the spirit of this mod alive but in the meantime the ambitious idea of giving every nation a cultural prestige good will have to be put on the backburner while Paradox works out this issue.

I'm still planning on doing what I can to fill out the roster - I'll just have to be more deliberate in my nation and good selections. Unfortunately this means I'll likely have to go back and remove some of the existing prestige goods I've added in order to make room for future ones, but like I said, not much I can do about that from my end. Hope to see the problem fixed soon.

It's a baffling limitation and I don't really understand why it exists in the first place - surely PDX would eventually want to add a new prestige variant to a good that already has 1 generic + 2 unique variants. Hopefully they expand the limit for modding purposes!

Love the mod btw :)
apljee  [author] 8 Jul @ 9:48pm
On further consideration, it would present a good opportunity to offer greater mod compatibility - that way if any problems do arise, I can at least, say, offer prestige goods for Tech+Res or Morgenrote trade goods (which isn't the best solution but it atleast allows me to expand the pool of available goods until the issue is fixed.)
apljee  [author] 8 Jul @ 9:46pm
@🦈Lily🦈 Actually I wasn't aware of that limitation - that's a bit disappointing, though it's something that I think can be worked around in the meantime while Paradox investigates the issue. I'm not sure there's anything I can do from my end if the issue has already been reported, but assuming it'll be fixed in the future then I'll just have to work around any problems that present themselves until then.

Hi! Cool project and looking forward to the development of it. Are you aware of and planning around the game limitation of 3 maximum prestige versions of each good? I know that at least one other mod has run into this issue and is trying to bring it to PDX's attention for fixing/changing.

Update 1 has been pushed - all of North America's minors and the majority of South America's minors have been given prestige goods / placeholder flavoured companies. Tomorrow I'll likely be working on the Caribbean and finishing Central America. Open to any feedback, cheers.
apljee  [author] 8 Jul @ 3:00pm
I'll be updating the mod soon to add in the rest of the North and South American minors - a lot of the company names will be placeholder, so if anyone knows or has any suggestions, please let me know in the comments.

Additionally, I'll be changing Alaska's good to sea otter pelts - I'm a bit iffy on giving any companies pelts/furs as prestige goods because the hunting/trapping industries are not represented in any capacity in Vic3. The company (and the HBC furs coompany) currently uses livestock ranches (since pelts are fabric variants) but if anyone has any other ideas I'm open to suggestions.
