This is becoming the unsung legend of my mod list. It's so simple, yet so perfect, and keeps getting better. It pairs amazingly with the mod that adds new spacebase items.

I'm seconding the transparent flooring for asteroids, combined with the buildable space platform mod you could make some really interesting looking structures

Hey Aelanna! Wondering if you've attempted a transparent flooring option to go over the asteroid foundation? Would be pretty cool to have an asteroid base with floor windows looking down on the planet. Bonus points if the rocky underside of the asteroid terrain is still visible through the glass.

That'd be rad! Not sure if you can add function to it (maybe a slight reduction to incident chance?) but even just as a cosmetic thing would be awesome

@Nikpo - Funnily enough I have the XML commented out as I'd already taken a shot at it, but I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted it to on first try. Will definitely take a second look now that the Odyssey art source is out. :)

Would a transparent-looking gravship hull (I guess it'd be a window lmao) be something you'd be interested in including in this? I'd love to add some windows to my helm.

@MarvinEhre - I looked into the issue and it seems to be a base game issue that would affect all modded substructures. I filed a request with Ludeon to see if they can fix it from their side, thank you for your patience!

Would be super cool if you can add a transparent flooring to go with them. I want to put a window in the floor of a throneroom, but it breaks the requirements.

When building a wall or hull on the transparent superstructure, all blocks will be shown as singular blocks and nit display as a wall.

@Sarg Bjornson - Will definitely take a look, gravship rendering is really finnicky due to how they're using chroma key to mask out anything that's not supposed to be part of the ship. I get issues with things like shadows causing the yellow to color-shift out of the chroma key range and getting weird matting too. :(

I have noticed that placing anything over the substructure makes it show up yellow artifacts on lift-off and landing, have you found any way to get rid of those?

so i figured out it was actually a mod called outland more floors. not playing nice. i got rid of it and put your mod at the bottom of my list works fine. so if i had to guess its that mod itself and not your mod. which is weird since it only adds floors

@StoryTellerMerc - I couldn't even begin to guess, other than that it's likely due to some sort of code collision with another mod that alters terrain rendering. If you could narrow down which other mod is causing this collision then I can take a look.

so i play alot of other mods and for some very odd reason when i add this mod. it makes any mountains that have paths underneath be like a solid floor above it. if pawns pass through they vanish. and come out the other side same with animals. its like its a whole other level. but i am getting no errors or anything. any idea what could be causing this?

@Your Best Friend - There is a Remove Foundation button in the Odyssey architect tab, it should remove both substructure and bridges!

Looks awesome, I just wish there was a way to remove gravship substructures now so I could replace the normal floor with glass later.

Really cool mod, I like it. I'll probably use the transparent bridges when I eventually do an islands run :D
