Terraformable?

In case you miss something or do not like something, let me know. I am curious how to make the map enjoyable for as many players as possible.

Thank you, isiarca, thank you Kraut. I used AI for the graphics, the rest is manual work. Actually it is not easy to caft a well-suited map for Dominions. But I see the huge potential.
Most terrain versions are created already. Biggest headache currently is to let Dominions know the correct province borders. I managed to import that already, but there are ugly black lines and artifacts after the import, so I want to fix that first before an update. Als the forest map version seems too difficult for (my) AI (skill), so that needs some manual work. But there should be a major update soon. Stay tuned :-)

beautiful map to plan on

I can confirm that the winter overlay is functioning correctly. Mind you, my game couldn't find the map despite everything seeming to be in order, so to test it I needed to copy-paste the files into the directory that non-Workshop maps go in (I've had a similar issue with custom nations and other Steam mods for D6 before; I think the problem is likely on my end but idk). Once I did that though, everything was as it should be.

On another note: this map is even prettier ingame than I expected. Did you make the visuals for it yourself? If so, you should be proud. If not, then you still have a very good eye for these things.

Most games start with 12-15 provinces per player, so yes, the map size is very suitable for 3-4 players. As for thrones, there really is no standard. Personally, I like to take a lvl 1 and a lvl 2 throne per player and no lvl 3 throne.

One of the most beatiful maps!
What's the recommended amount of players and thrones?
I'm guessing 3-4?

I managed to make the winter graphics work locally. But I am not sure if it uploaded that change. Please let me know if it shows snowland now in cold temp.
The province borders are not properly set yet, so it looks a bit awkward. I have an idea how to do that, but need to get the tool for layered design and then redo the borders.

Good observation. How can I flag it as a map?
Kellnaved 12 Jul @ 10:41pm
Have you flagged this as a "map" it doesn´t show up if I select the map filter in the workshop

I made a winter file ("comicland_winter.tga") and added it to the map directory. But the game still shows the summer provinces only. Mapmakermanual doesn't give a hint about that issue. Any ideas what I could do?

Gorgeous!

thanks, isiarca, glad you like it. i would love to find the time to add at least a winter version of the map.

It looks really nice.

It's my first map. Please be encouraging.
Helpful suggestions appreciated.
