My ideoligion has only two roles, leader and moral guide, and they are both filled, but I still get a "Chain of command shattered -12" mood debuff. I'm playing with very few mods, around 15, but I have Vanilla Ideoligion Expanded, Alpha Memes and Questing Meme among them, or maybe the issue is caused by the fact I added the Regimented meme after reforming my fluid ideoligion? I don't know, I don't know what else to consider, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

any chance of allowing this meme to unlock VAE's military jacket and military beret for specialist roles? the authority cap from vanilla and the commissar hat + military cap from VIE hats & rags would be nice too.

If you find any more issues let me know! I got it working as intended BUT the only real way to properly test is to let other people play with it.

Yes, I did remove it mid game, and I thought the same, maybe the game still thinks that.

@lucky_one When I made this mod, I tried to make it work no matter how many specialists you have (I knew people would mod that lol). I'll install the mod and test it out, should be able to be compatible.

Did you remove the Raise Specialist Limit mod mid-save? That might make the game think your Ideology still has more roles than it does. Again, I will check it out and fix this weekend!

is it possible that this is conflicting with "Raise specialist limit"? (Allows you to have as many specialist as you want). Also, after removing said mod, I still have the -2 mood penalty even if every role is filled (Chain of command is streched).

You should probably elaborate on mechanics of the chain of command in the game tooltip, before reading the comment I got the impression this is something about leader pawn getting downed or not being present while in combat or something.

Also, wanted to clarify that right now it is checking as often as every other thought in the game. But again, I have a few ways to improve performance.

@teh T oh shoot! I left the debugging in from the last fix. Will remove when I get home, and yes I am always working on my mods to improve performance in the background. I have a few ideas on how to do this, but 1.6 added a new tick system so I am still making sure I understand it before updating.

This is pretty cool, but it feels like the role check happens too often?
It also spams the console with

Filled Roles: 3

Multiple times per second on high sim speed.

Instead of the normal "Moral Guide Needed" mood penalty, Chain of Command adds a more serious penalty depending on how many roles are empty. Each role filled reduces that penalty, ending in a slight mood buff when all roles are filled.
