hmm it was working in 1.5 and now my modlist is like half of what it was.
i dunno. does rimthemes effect it? i think that just changes colors and backgrounds

could you try make this work without one of the dlcs by checking if the dlc is active before creating the buttons? If it isnt too hard (with ModsConfig.IdeologyActive and ModsConfig.BiotechActive)

probably because the number of good mods like this one that got abandoned by the original authors keeps increasing, more and more mods will get "forked" from the original by other people

Mod should now be fully compatible with Big and Small framework and genes. I appreciate the error logs and help with narrowing the issue down. If there is any more issues then let me know.

ey, i started getting the same errors as @Tinda after adding a bunch of mods. checking our respective logs and doing some light testing, both of us have the Big and Small Framework mod, and when i attempted to load the game with only that mod and the Xenotype button mod, it gets the same error.

@Tinda I've just rolled out a patch that might catch your issue. However since I don't have the same mods, then all I know is that it doesn't break everything for me at least.

@Tinda Thanks for providing the log. I’ll try to roll out a patch to catch exceptions like this, but please note that this mod depends on PawnGenerator.GeneratePawn behaving like vanilla. Any other mod that overrides pawn generation can break this step in ways I can’t fully guard against.

Your modlist is much larger than what I can feasibly check for compatibility myself, so conflicts are likely coming from something patching pawn generation or adding something incompatible that the set up currently doesn't generate. You could try loading this mod lower in your load order to make sure its patch applies last, but I can’t guarantee that will resolve it.

That is to say it works on my end. If its a critical mod for you then try disabling mods that could mess with pawn and world generation and see if it works.

I can't open the xenotype menu at all.
Getting these errors:
