Can you give me an name of one to check and fix?
Other then that it's a very nice mod
Just updated with the dwarfs. Check it out.
In the next version I will revert the changes made for the names and anything else
@NRKE
For now, the colors changes will not be separated - maybe in the future. I didn't have the problem with the LOD, in my game is doing fine. Try out this mod, maybe it helps (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2858955442)
@原野追逐
As for the names, as I wrote above, it will be reverted to vanilla in V 3.0.
"I find it difficult to distinguish which faction an army belongs to on the grand map now that they have new banners/flags." - I mean, that's the point of the mod, make new banners and flags, so what is the specific problem you are having?
I have to voice the suggestion that changing the faction colors be separated if possible. The LOD pop ups because of the color changes is a bit immersion breaking. This may be the result of mod conflict but it stands that it is being caused because of the color changes.
But just a suggestion, great work :)
I'll not split the factions recolor (at least not for now).
But don't worry, my mod only change the uniform color on db/factions_table. I didn't edit any unit model or texture. Custom unit should use the new colors as long as the mod that add them don't touch the color keys on the database.
And Reikland is like Austria's. I guess GW really went out and put some real european flavor in the setting haha
@Mr Jin
Yep. The Dawi are next in line. I don't want to go to the Book, you know
@Smalec
In due time, but certainly.
@Esoteric knowledge enjoyer
If theres a lore reference to use, I'll most likely use them. But I'm taking a lot of creative freedom as well. In the end, it's a mix & blend that, for me, looks snazzy
@Noreason
Nope.
But we're both doing the same thing, in different ways and styles. RobinHat's work is incredible, and was the one who inspired me to create Heraldrize. Let's just say I offer alternative designs.
I'm sure they will be just as beautiful for the Bretonians, elves, and Kislev as well.👍
I remember a mod like this from wh2, and i absolutely loved it. So all the best to you, can't wait for more updates on it :)
Herald: I understando your point. Indeed the saturation and contrast were reduced to work better with the textured layers, but I'll take a look in a way to make them more vibrant once TEB and Dwarf are done. Thanks for the input ;-)
I guess it might not be as noticeable when you change the heraldry for all the factions.
