I know. There is unused in-game model data for Gerik.

1) However, since there are no voice acting data for unit selection or command responses, this could negatively affect immersion.

2) Yuri is already a powerful melee expert agent obtained early in the game, so adding one more agent on top of that could result in an overpowered balance.

3) If you guys still wish for Gerik to be added despite these issues, I’ll consider including him in a later update. (Like the Gotrek & Felix duo, they would be separate hero agents, but Gerik character would remain silent due to the lack of voice.)

Therefore, factions added through modding cannot be permitted.

@alcibiades003 It simply means you can not hire Yuri when you play modded new faction such as OVN or SCM. It doesn't mean have a crash or not spawn issue despite you just activate other playable faction mod.

And was this meant to work in tandem or independent of Yuri & Gerik Join Kislev by Alex Zhao?

So when you say incompatible with modded factions, do you mean that the event will not spawn for those factions, or cause a crash? I play with all OVN and SCM mods.

Ok, that's definitely better than not having him at all. I was hoping for a hero type to embed Yuri's army but this is a fine alternative. Thank you.
