@chatnoirt17, is this mod still functional? How does it interact with China?
BlackBeard 27 Apr, 2018 @ 5:32pm
Seems bloody interesting. Will check it out. It will take a while for me to adapt to the new portrait pictures..
Enriador 14 Jun, 2017 @ 6:09pm
Same as me @AJSA. Historical and concise (and thus running much faster). I wish there were more mods like this, the Winter King mod was similar but now expanded a lot and it's slow as hell!
=AJSA= Giver of Will 19 May, 2017 @ 7:12pm
that mod and this mod are the only i really use
=AJSA= Giver of Will 19 May, 2017 @ 7:12pm

3 kingdom is god
EmotionallyBroken 22 Mar, 2016 @ 12:47am
How about a china war of 3 kingdoms mod? : )
EmotionallyBroken 22 Mar, 2016 @ 12:47am
Wow I didnt even recognize Japan, it looks so different from the Shogun 2 map.
EmotionallyBroken 22 Mar, 2016 @ 12:45am
Where the heck is this?
TurtleShroom 22 Jan, 2016 @ 6:13pm
Hmmph. Not enough cue hairstyles, and people they conquer don't have cue hairstyles.

I am disappoint.
JakeTF 28 Dec, 2015 @ 3:22am
Is there a way to make the event fire using the console?
irish17715 7 Apr, 2015 @ 5:07pm
@chatnoir17 thank you lol
chatnoir17  [author] 6 Apr, 2015 @ 7:11pm
@irish17715
They are not on steam workshop, but on official Paradox forums.
irish17715 12 Mar, 2015 @ 2:51pm
@chatnoir17 i cant find those mods XD i really want a three kingdoms and China and Han and stuff
blumsden19 7 Mar, 2015 @ 1:35pm
Ok, Thanks for the reply and i'll have a look at those mods :) Thanks again
chatnoir17  [author] 7 Mar, 2015 @ 5:28am
@blumsden19
The continent is out of our project. It is beyond our ability due to the huge about of works of map modding and historical research.
There are some mods which add entire Asia to CK2 vanilla though. Try Umbra Spherae or Tianxia mods, although they are also works in progress.
I have seen some China mods in the mod sub forum, but I am not sure whether they are still active or not.
blumsden19 7 Mar, 2015 @ 2:40am
Please make China playable but have it like Japan, not conquered by one faction, or make it like the Han Dynasty when it split up into the 3 kingdoms (Shu, Wei and Wu maybe even Jin. i know thats not really historically accurate but it would make a really fun game. By the way i Love this mod its amazing Thanks for working so hard to create this mod.

@chatnoir17 Thanks!

May I ask how you changed the terrain? When I make a change to terrain.bmp and save it CK2 will crash on opening.
Leif 18 Feb, 2015 @ 1:09am
LOL Kennedy. I haven't got very far in the mod yet. I'm glad other folks enjoy it also. Has anyone actually fought off the Manchu?:CrossedBlades:
TurtleShroom 11 Jan, 2015 @ 2:50pm
DOES THIS MEAN THAT CHARACTERS WITH MANCHU CULTURE GET THAT AWESOME HAIR (the Queue/Manchurian Ponytail)? We should really get some designer to create that for all the characters, because tradition holds that characters under Mnachu rule were forced to create that hairstyle on their own head.
kennedy.jauregui 18 Dec, 2014 @ 10:06pm
I actually bought RoI for this mod, and have zero regrets!
chatnoir17  [author] 16 Dec, 2014 @ 11:02am
@The Wild Goose
Maybe it is too early for Qing to invade Europe, since the game ends in 1453 in vanilla...
The Wild Goose 16 Dec, 2014 @ 10:13am
where does this fit in with europe?
chatnoir17  [author] 15 Dec, 2014 @ 11:19am
@dread5
It depends on the start date, since events happen in the 17th century.
chatnoir17  [author] 15 Dec, 2014 @ 11:18am
Please stop the discussion about personal decision of DLC purchase. Thanks!
michaelhefler1 15 Dec, 2014 @ 11:02am
@ LikkerdySplit
I was talking about other people. That is why I said " not necessarily including me". Also
$15? What the h*** do you eat for lunch everyday.
Faustian Device 14 Dec, 2014 @ 10:01pm
Does this work if i already have a game going?
LikkerdySplit 14 Dec, 2014 @ 1:46am
@ michael hefler
Well then fine, don't buy it, God bless you, but it's not wise to backbite and moan about these vain extrapolations, when you can blow 15 bucks for lunch every day what's 99c for some video game, or for that matter if you're keen for your hobby and you can bear it, then what's $175?
Seems like to me if you bought these things at the max price then you're getting gouged, but that's of your own doing, no one was forced to spend a split dime.
Just a little advice i suppose, take it if you will, or not, God bless you anyhow.
OxSpace 13 Dec, 2014 @ 2:23pm
What would be cooler is a Mongol Invasion, they did it IRL, but failed.
CrazyCeltic 13 Dec, 2014 @ 10:47am
Well i'm gonna buy RoI to use this mod, if that brigthens the mood a bit! ;)
chatnoir17  [author] 13 Dec, 2014 @ 9:10am
Also, I would like to stop the discussion about the RoI requirement. We have decided to use it and this decision won't be changed in near future. We might loose not few possible players by this decision, while we can use the interesting Buddhist contents from the DLC.
Now we are trying to convince people to purchase RoI by improving NMIH. I believe that people would buy the DLC if our mod is good. It is actually great honor for us to hear "I bought RoI because I wanted to play this mod!".^^
chatnoir17  [author] 13 Dec, 2014 @ 9:00am
Another invasions depend on the timeline. There was an historical attempt of the Joseon dynasty to take Tsushima (the island was somehow marginal between Korea and Japan) in the early 15th century.
michaelhefler1 12 Dec, 2014 @ 10:11am
@LikkerdySplit Some people, not necessarily including me, probably feel like they are not required to pay for all of the dlc content especially the ones that they don't want. Considering that there is enough dlc that, plus the main game, adds up to about 175 dollars, I not blame them.
阿豪 12 Dec, 2014 @ 3:44am
This mod is pretty cool, is there any possibility of a mod or submod featuring dynasties like the Ming or Tang appearing? I know the Japanese fear of invasion by China is fulfilled more or less by the Qing incasion in this mod but it's be pretty cool to play as one of the non-Mongol or Jurchen dynasties
LikkerdySplit 10 Dec, 2014 @ 6:37pm
Why not just spend the 3 or so bucks and buy the thing?
How much did your breakfast cost this morning?
chatnoir17  [author] 10 Dec, 2014 @ 12:02pm
@Madjockja
Sadly no, these mods are mostly made by myself, and if we won't use RoI, the amount of possible works will increase drastically, since we have to create buddhist features and other Asian materials from nothing.
madjockja 10 Dec, 2014 @ 10:09am
Is there anyway it would not need Rajas of India
chatnoir17  [author] 9 Dec, 2014 @ 1:45pm
@FYROMball
Yes, since it is a sub mod of NMIH, and NMIH requires RoI...
clarence 9 Dec, 2014 @ 12:14pm
Let me guess, Rajas of India is required?
