For the animated exo - as far as I know, the game doesn't support animated textures. Even if I put in in somehow, it'd only show the first animation frame.
The animation does look cool though.

About the inventory - again, I really doubt that's possible. Containers in the game need to be taken into your hands/inventory to look inside, and exo's inventory is basically a container.

Also, do you think there could be a way to access the exo's inventory without needing to equip it?
