At a very bare minimum - a vacsuit, enough survival meals to get you to make some basic hydroponics or some other growspot. No animals, no wild plants means you gotta rush that.
Not removing it will cause issues for people who dont own anomily and frankly within the context of this planet should not have any chance of Anomaly's spawning.
Use total control and make a few rules to give every faction a vacsuit or similar as a default loadout.
I figure while weird doing so is probably a better fallback than some quest-generated Impid tribal wandering unto the map and immediately dying to vacuum exposure. Like, how were they fine right up until they got to the map? :D
When choosing the world, press customize at the bottom of the screen.
Snow generates on each map.
Wind ambience, this should be replaceable.
Any factions put on this map won't spawn in vac resistant suits. Would it be possible to force gen them just like how pawn generation behaves in orbit?
Temperature changes would be nice.

Now all I need to do is fill it with human baseliner factions with a Starship Troopers ideology, restrict their equipment to fully sealed power armor and specific industrial / spacer weapons, get a base generation mod that adds vac barriers to all of their base buildings, in-door hydroponics.
Then add vacuum resistance 100% to all insectoid hives / creatures, give them that Arachnoids skin mod, have only Mobile Infantry and "Arachnoid" factions on the planet, and I can recreate the Pluto Campaign from Starship Troopers: Roughneck Chronicles.
The original template only has orbital factions and mechanoids. The parent mod allows you to edit my template and add any factions you want.
