Uh, I worked in gamedev already and the only way for me to ever go back in would be to have my own indie studio :)

But Walt is free to grab it and add straight away, mod was made from in game assets only :)

honestly walt should hire you so you can just add a feature that allows you to 'turn' the cockpit to diagonal XD

I could do even better.
Before my hdd crashed I was working on Turret Shields.
But I've lost all graphics sources except for tiny pd shield.

Can you make diagonal shields too ? It seems so weird that a diagonal ship can't have shields pointing forward...

As it was released after Overclock update, I assumed folks would know it was for 0.30.0+ :)

To be totally honest with you folks, I wanted to do this for the last 2 years, as this annoyed the hell out of me that diagonal cockpits are missing. Life happened unfortunatelly, and I was hoping that maybe someone else will do this mod, but no.

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MOD!!! I have been wishing for something remotely close to diagonal cockpits and you have made it a reality. A very well made reality.

It's not a bad idea by the way, to make an alternative - diagonal arrangement for all parts. The idea is clearly worthy of endorsement.

Just ignore it! :)
It is actually least power-per-command point efficient cockpit in the pack, but it allows for creation of panic rooms on larger ships if you surround it with tristeel armor!
