Just googled and found an old bug report, seems another bug crawled back out of the wood work to mess with us.
My advice, once connectors are lined up turn off thrusters and connect, if it works spread the word.

Not sure if it’s only in the Random Encounter Version (which includes an antenna and ore detector not mentioned in the description) or not but there might be a bug in the ships docking systems.
I don’t know why but last time I connected to a ship or station the encounter version went nuts, it’s thrusters fired randomly and nearly broke the docking arm on its port side as well as the starboard side one for the Explorer MKII I had her connected to, later she did the same thing with the Asteroid Armoury Starter Base from the Asteroid Armoury world, it also was violent enough to break the armoury loose from the asteroid ruining a days hard work since I had not activated auto save as it is turned off by default on that scenario.
I should clarify that I’m not blaming anyone but figured it best to warn people before it happens to them too.
If you want me to provide a copy of the bugged design I can switch over to creative next week and create a copy to send to you.

Hey mate, I found your ship floating in space. Nice load of ingots and material on it.

I just learned about 'exploration' when maxing the settings on Space Engineers, I joined a friends game who had never heard of this ship and I thought it to be a strange mod he had, but i was wrong, it was your ship appearing as my spawn ship (not sure why, or if that's supposed to happen) However, it intrigued me as I was spawned into this ship, and immediately noticed the great design you've taken in, and aside from the hole straight through the center, the ship still looked great! sadly the ship was too damaged to move, and the ship was hit again by a meteor which killed me while i was afk in the center... so, i lost it! but i started a search, and here i am.

I have subscribed to this, and with this being my first exploration, i really doubt any ship can beat this, at least as a starter ship!

This was my first exploration find in the game. VERY nice ship. Not only does it have what you need to just pick up and go somewhere, but it does it minimalistically. And you nailed the interior. That little room being tucked into the side of the ship with the window overlooking wherever its parked makes it a really nice place to sit and take in the sights of ones empire. The antenna makes it great for scanning out objects if you use the scanner and the docking ports plus flat surfaces make it a functional ship for "towing" back any ships you find. Very, very well done.

Spotted this ship while flying by at 9k+ m/s as the antenna was turned on (was testing a speed mod with a grav drive). No way that I could go back to find it, but I'm glad to see that it wasn't my mind playing tricks on me! Cool ship! I wish I could have properly found it lol
