Yessiree, tried to make them as close to original Beatles photos from their Cavern days as I could

Are the Black & White Pictures inspired by the beatles? If so, Cool.

Sorry man, I don't take requests, plus everything I will more than likely upload will be ported from Gmod only, unless I learn to properly model someday.

Eh, I've done a few artwork regarding that, but I'm not really the biggest fan of posing guitars on characters and such. And don't worry about it man, you're fine.
Kretduy 1 Feb, 2017 @ 7:59pm
wow

you sure need to specialize in that matter

and bout the artwork

it will be posted *on/in* my profile

*sorry for my bad english, im from chile :c*

Sweet man! Show me when you're done.

And yup, Gretsches are wonderful for jazz. Especially if you get a model with dynasonic single coil pickups. Like Telecaster pickups on steroids. I love to use my Gretsch guitars for rockabilly and blues though. Some classic rock and British Invasion too, considering George Harrison played this guitar on The Beatles' first U.S. tour.
Kretduy 1 Feb, 2017 @ 6:13pm
they tend to use those kinds of guitars

I have/owned a few Gretsches over the years, with my two current ones being a 6129 '57 Silver Jet reissue and a modified G5420T. At one point a 5125, but that was traded towards the jet; personally, I find the larger/bulky 6120-esq bodies more comfortable to sit and play for a bit.

Out of all of the guitars I've owned, hands down my Casino and newer series Hofner Violin guitar are the most uncomfortable guitars I've played. The Casino's body is slightly bigger than a Gretsch, and it digs into your arm. The Hofner.. For obvious reasons.

The Rick though.. Absolutely excellent rhythm guitar. The short scale makes bar chords and shuffle patterns much easier to play and more comfortable. You can easily blend the tone to be meaty, jangly, dark, or some in betweens. Quite fat on the low end too. Of course with the shorter scale, it sucks big time on lead stuff.

good choice. only problem with the gretsch is its a little big to play when sitting down. more of a gigging guitar though in my opinion

You're goddang lucky. I had a chance to purchase one, but I went with the Rickenbacker 325 instead.
