is it just me ro does it seem all the dark-shadows mods dont work at all since the swap to dx11? the shoadows always look the same as stock, i use them anyway but i feel it doesnt matter sadly.

hm may be he has another skybox active? And try to place the skybox at the first place in the load order.

My friend only sees this skybox as a pure white background, any ix for it?

Sadly no because, the texture for the skybox is defined in the same file as the shadows. So you have to change the values foreach skybox.
