Their villagers for me to convert are all deep inside their settlement past their army.

It took me two tries to figure out how to do this, so for anyone struggling with this one, here's a bit of a guide:
Let the two villagers that you have on the starting island chop wood for fishing ships. On the mainland, have 2 vills chop wood and the last one collect 200 gold, after which he'll be sent to stone. Later send your two wood vills to stone as well.
Clear all islands with your strong hero ship. it's ok to neglect your base in the north-west. Click up to castle age and build a castle north of your base. Also, build a monastery to create new monks for conversions, so transfer the vills to gold again for upgrades and monks. When converting vills, split them between wood and gold. Note: your hero ship has just enough HP to take out one of yellow's towers at a time.

In imperial age, the game will become a steamroll on your part, and you can now make trebs and whatever units you wish to make to win. Either go full monk and turn the enemy against itself or spam arbs like me.

Managed to get it working. great map, again. Challenge factor is dropping though. in the beginning you get attacked alot while from end-to-middle it gets dwindled.

Gives an error message when trying to start. could it be incompatible with some mods perhaps?
