HYP3R I was in that war and fought on the sides of free modding. But looking on it, people make some amazing mods. Those are the modders that should be compensated, but if you remember the paid mods, they wanted you to pay .50 to $2.00s for a stupid sword mod. With how steam wants to implement it, I still don't think that they should do it, but for the people who create these amazing mods, like this amazing one called Project Legacy that had to shut down because it was costing them too much time ( along with a full on staff revolt) If there was a way to make it so these amazing projects could be compensated, I would go for it. Unfortunitly for now, unless Bethesda steps in, reviews mods submited to perhaps turn them into dlc, It would be a complete mess if paid mods were introduce and the modding community as it is would cease to exist.

Announcement regarding Workshop 'Paid' mods
=================================================

Since yesterday, the news of Valve allowing content creators on the Steam Workshop has caused a bit of a ruckus. Some say mods should always be free, others say content creators should have the ability to make a small return for the effort/time they put in.

I personally agree with the latter, but I'm not posting this to discuss the issue.

tl;dr: This mod won't be monetized. I feel that this mod doesn't have the quality, the regular updates, or enough content within it to even consider putting a pricetag on it. Charging fans for something like this, is the equivalent of cosplay prints - you put some clothes on and took a photo.

@ManOnFire Well, I recently upgraded my videocard which is giving me an immensely superior framerate now. Once I get back into the swing of Skyrim, I'll probably start work on it again.
Blaze_Hammer 6 Apr, 2015 @ 4:03am
make more dammit :D
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 6 Apr, 2015 @ 3:57am
Okay, so it's been a while since I've worked on this mod. I'll admit I've been playing other games, and became so frustrated with my Skyrim randomly dying in the arse for no apparent reason.

I've checked this mod after a few months, and I see the current subscriber count and my jaw dropped. I'm glad that so many like this mod -- It's awesome to see that people still enjoy the subtle things.

I might update a few more NPCs soon. I might not. But for what the mod is, I'm glad you guys like it.

@ManOnFire [マイ·ボディガ] No clue mate. Start uninstalling mods one by one in the order of last installed to first installed, and wait for the issue to stop. It won't be an issue with this mod.
Blaze_Hammer 13 Mar, 2015 @ 3:59pm
does that effect anything???
Blaze_Hammer 13 Mar, 2015 @ 3:59pm
i recently had high res pack uninstalled and i think it started there. (idk my gang of followers are all guys and i was in the middle of nowhere)
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 13 Mar, 2015 @ 1:53pm
@ManOnFire [マイ·ボディガ] Not sure exactly what you'd like me to do. Troubleshoot by uninstalling your mods one by one.
Blaze_Hammer 13 Mar, 2015 @ 7:52am
i think i fucked up the mod and now the caracters literally look like fucking barbie dolls its real scary. help please???
Ladstra 11 Jan, 2015 @ 2:25pm
Someone tell me when it effects male models pls m8's
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 29 Dec, 2014 @ 4:46pm
@Spooks Only females currently, and only the four females listed above. There are plans to modify males too, but its a progressive development plan. I plan to edit them as I come across them in-game or unless someone makes suggestions.
LampreyRave 29 Dec, 2014 @ 4:33pm
Does this mod only effect the female modles? Or does it also effect the male modles as well?
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 29 Dec, 2014 @ 12:59pm
@Storm_at_Sea Yep, 2nd and 4th pics are Ysolda. Yeah, its an issue with outside lighting - taking screenshots in the world lighting in the middle of the day always proves to be difficult to get a good image. Also, completely agree with Lydia's makeup -- primarily the reason I started this mod to begin with, heh.
Storm_at_Sea 29 Dec, 2014 @ 11:49am
A workshop version is appreciated, as not everyone uses nexus (for various reasons).

Are the 2nd and 4th pictures^ both Ysolda? If so, it looks like her top lip went almost completely missing in the outside shot of her... or is that just the brite light making it seem that way? Lydia's make-up definately needed softening, colors were too harsh for her. Good job. :riften:

Anyways, I hope you find NPCs that you can do this to because I was playing skyrim years ago and I thought, "everybody looks ugly. They need some adjustment." Now that I get right down to it, however, I think to myself, "no, no... he looks fine. nah, she's good, too. Who ACTUALLY needs this?! But there you are adjusting characters and making them look better. Good work!"
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 27 Dec, 2014 @ 1:16pm
Thank you, thank you. But now I [em]want[/em] XCE :maeko:
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 27 Dec, 2014 @ 1:10pm
@callofbooty00 The comparison screenshots above are with and without XCE, another mod that introduces more defition to vanilla facial textures.

@[GmT] Cwalk You see the screenshots proving it works without XCE :P
Ethan 27 Dec, 2014 @ 6:09am
I don't see a difference
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 27 Dec, 2014 @ 6:08am
aha! Do I see vanilla screenshots? :)
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 8:02pm
@runemaster200 You should be able to follow me from my Steam Workshop profile, and it'll notify you.
SiyQo 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:29pm
yo can u add me so i can keep up with your new mods
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:26pm
@runemaster200 Awesome stuff. :)
SiyQo 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:25pm
yeah i know that i think ive got it figured out now. I just uninstalled a few of the mods then re installed em
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:24pm
@runemaster200 If you haven't installed my mod, then its going to be related to a different mod you've installed/uninstalled recently. It could be a load order issue, could be a mod incompatibilty issue. I'd suggest backtracking and trying to figure out where it went wrong.
SiyQo 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:22pm
i havn't installed it yet im going to do that right now m8 ill find out what it is
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 6:09pm
@runemaster200 Sounds like a mod load order issue. Did this occur before/after you installed my mod?
SiyQo 26 Dec, 2014 @ 5:58pm
awesome i cant get into skyrim right now for some reason. It wont load at all it goes to the menu and then closes automaticly How do i fix that
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 5:57pm
@runemaster200 I'll see what I can do. :)
SiyQo 26 Dec, 2014 @ 5:31pm
can you make one for saadia
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:55pm
@[GmT] Cwalk Sure. I'll see if I've got time to do that today.
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:54pm
nice avatar and name btw. MOAR PISS MEN
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:53pm
actually if you could just post only in vanilla screenshots that'd be pretty cool.
just remove any mods when you post a screenshot, yes?
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:51pm
@[GmT] Cwalk It'll work, trust me. The only issue I can see with this mod is the "black face" issue caused by Creation Kit. This mod only adjusts the facegen files of the vanilla game, which are seperate to the texture files (they're both held in their own directories) and have no dependency/link to each other.

But I kinda see what you're asking. You'd like comparison shots, yes?
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:39pm
oh, and by changing the characters i meant on your own game using the mods. my bad.
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:38pm
hm... I recommend making a second profile and testing for those of us who use pure vanilla graphics, just to be completely sure it will work with a complete vanilla installation, which is what you have said that you are doing.
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:34pm
@[GmT] Cwalk I try to keep the essence of the character there as much as possible when I make tweaks to their appearance. Example, the only real change about Lydia is changing her duckface lips and liptone for something a bit more subtle -- as opposed to the plethora of mods from the Nexus that totally change her into a new character like some hollywood bimbo.
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:30pm
Yeah, that's what I thought. I read in the description that this was for vanilla users but you seem to be changing the very characters... Looks good, though! I had always wanted to change the features of various npcs but I suck at character creation.
HYP3RSTRIKE  [author] 26 Dec, 2014 @ 4:23pm
@john94 Mods take time before they're ever fully finished. So yeah, it'll be a while before its completely done -- but the upside to that is, that development will always be present. One thing I see quite often is when a mod stops being worked on, and users stop using said mod.

@[GmT] Cwalk The only mods present in this screenshot (as far as character detail is concerned), is XCE Character Enhancement which only improves on the detail of the vanilla facial features/textures. Aside from that, third party skin textures or body beshes. This mod was designed for vanilla users.
MISSING STRING TABLE ENTRY 26 Dec, 2014 @ 12:16pm
So does this improve upon characters if you have no character models installed? I keep my game fairly vanilla and your screenshots look like they have a custom texture.
