Great mod, ever thought of designing a spiky treeguard???

Is this also for don't starve? Because if it's not could you make it for don't starve as well? That would really be helpfull ^_^

This mod is mostly unnecessary now since the bug that was making them pursue you as if you were Sarah Connor was fixed a month or so after I wrote this. Leaving it up because people seem to get really mad for no reason when the treants just stare at them.

why irrtating ?

@VisanD21 There was a function declaration change in the hotfix. I fixed it, they're back to being just as irritating as ever.

@bucketmouse I think your mod has a issue. Does your mod have a .tex archive called happytree? and a paste called brains inside another paste called scripts? because that's the origin of my crashes. The erros is: "Attempt to call method 'GetNearestLivingPlayer' (a nil value)", and i don't spawned a single treeguard yet, and it happens when i go far from home. I hope you can fix it as fast as possible, i like your mod.

@bucketmouse First: just the host needs to enable this mod?
Second: Why do they follow us everywhere? They seem like a follower like chester (but way more slower)? The bad of they keep following you it's because you can't even touch a tree without him getting mad with you. I think would be better if they just turns back to their tree form after they give up of chasing you, like when you plant tons of pine cones.

"Instead they'll wander around silently judging you."
You have a way with words.

@Kitty They'll chase you about half a screen and then lose interest in killing you. Instead they'll passively wander around the area silently judging you.

It's great when they wander into camp at night and start starting at you because it results in moderate annoyance and arguments about who's responsible rather than a base wipe.

Question.. if you manage to aggro a treegaurd, will they still chase you forever? Or do they give up after a while, akin to spiders/evil pigs/anything else that usually comes after you?

@koolkid115 : "Since the world-gen setting for Treeguards doesn't properly control whether they spawn from woodchopping or not," ... says it in the description. This mod is also set to behave in a way that the mod can stick around after the spawn bug is fixed. It doesn't alter its spawning, but its AI post-spawn. To avoid griefing while still keeping the challenge.

Also, I'd like a deerclop who would repair my camp.
