Believe it or not, creating a monopoly on mods by forcing them to be bundled together is actually a pretty terrible idea, and kils what is already a very small modding community.

I tried the regular version of this for vanilla but I can't use it because when you zoom in and out the shadows casted by reeds shimmer and flicker way too much. If it could be made so that the reeds don't cast shadows it would be better I think. Also is reeds the only vegetation added? I think a lot of different grasses and plants would be cool. Gonna try the Old Growth Forests mod instead though.

1.3 was the last version I played. The CC devs have had the source for this mod since then, so it's probably part of that now anyway.

I don't plan on making a 1.4 version. I'm somewhat retired from playing Banished, and 1.4 seems too complicated for me to just quickly throw something together, now. But 1.4 has most all of these map features anyway.

This must have been my problem. I kept trying the mod for the game to do a crash to desktop when I tried to start a new game. Now it works perfectly :) Awesome mod!

I hope you consider putting the non-CC version up on Steam. This mod looks fantastic but I am confused by all the different versions of CC and don't know how to ue them.

And secondly, I really really want tropical trees. The Sand Lakes maptype in CC would be so awesome with tropical trees replacing the pine trees, it'd be like a tropical island or a sort of mexican conquistador colony.

Any chance of adding pink cherry blossoms to the fold? And would they then be placeable as decorations in the city, as the maple is for example? I would absolutely love that.

any chance we can get the mountain pines into s separate mod without CC? I always play with your old growth forest mod but dont like CC as it changes the original map too much in my taste.

You have to let the simulation run for a bit on new maps. That's how all immortal trees behave.

Most crash reports have been because people were trying to run this mod by itself. It needs to run with CC.
