Thanks! M45 doesn't sound like it would be difficult to make. Might try to make room this week to work on something for it! As much as I enjoy making these, there is a ton of other tasks I need to work on so it might take some time to spit some of these out ehehe.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback ^_^!
Yes, as do I young grasshopper. Unfortunately, schools been beating me up with all these different assignments ahaha. I'd like to get started on projects that I've been putting off. Hopefully sometime this week. Don't worry though, I'll make an effort to spit out some MLP stuff for you guys.
Oh you! ╭(◔ ◡ ◔)/
No problem man, good luck with your future skins!
Thanks! Wouldn't have guessed to do that if you wouldn'y have told me. I'll look into the skins you've mentioned and put it into whatever future work I plan. Thanks again for the advice. It's probably saved me hours of headaches!
I recommend downloading some other skins from the workshop that do have the glowing sights, and jury rigging that information into your skins, with some modifications.
What you'll do, is download the skin, navigate to your workshop folder, open the skin with GCFScape, and look at all the files and how they're changed. Then, you just use that information to get your own sights. The .vmt files are what give you the glowing sights, to clarify.
I recommend the "M92FS Silver Dragon" skin, or the "Modern Makarov" skin to look at.
Night Sights was going to accompany the skin but unfortunately for me, I don't know how to get that "Glow in the dark" effect that I've seen others do in the workshop.
The line inside the trigger guard that you mentioned was originally removed but I must have forgetton to remove. I only noticed it after I had uploaded. Decided to let it slip by. The area around the selector does need some work on it. Thanks for the advise!
I've thought about going back on this and do a bit more tweaking with it. Nothing too major or anything. Just wanted to go over any areas that look like it needs attention. Thanks for leaving a response. It'll deffnitely take all this in mind on other projects.
As far as a first skin, this is pretty good, all things considered. The lines on the inside of the trigger guard (as seen on the first picture) and near the selector switch are a bit blurry and, in the case of the lines near the selector switch, kind of overlap and look messy.
Otherwise, decent colour choices all around. I really like what you did to the mag, as far as aesthetics go, as well. Definitely a good first skin.
I too noticed a lack of pony here so I thought I'd give it a shot! Working on projects likes will always be diffiult at first. I had a hard time with this myself, I kinda gave up on it for half a month and got back on it just a few days ago. Don't let it discourage you from it. You'll get better at em! I'll deffinetely do more of these. But I've got to take a little break from this one
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. This was my first so it's not up to quality when you compare em to others here. I put my hardest on it though. Hope you enjoyed it!
