Hi mate i ahve done the update version

The synth with upgrade module support and can make ice (if a player doesnt like the added ice simply dont make ice with it lol)

Um, producing ice from stone? Not very realistic, hey Finger there's another guy out there with a mod the description for which goes all out on the science of mineral compositions for asteroids, maybe you should partner with him? I'd be surprised if you couldn't find somebody to model these, I mean I know Sektan keeps pretty busy but this seems right up his alley.

If you change the one arc furnace so it only accepts the refined gravel bags then you can have it put out a new ingot that nothing else uses (call it dark matter) then you can set up your assembler so it only accept the "dark matter" and can put out any other ingot type (2 stage process) then you can also increase the amount of power needed for each of the units (1 small reactor for 1st stage then 2x small reactors for 2nd stage to balance the system) then all you have to do is edit the part of the models so that stage 1 has "Dark Matter Furnace" and stage 2 has "Dark Matter Converter" where the "arc furnace" and "assembler" labels are. this should also prevent the assembler from interacting with other assemblers. Another option would be to use the large refinery model for stage 1 then use several of the arc furnace models for stage 2 (one for each ingot type output). then you can have 1 small reactor worth of power requirement for each unit to keep the game balanced.

@Sabor792 - There isn't much I can do about that. By nature of how it functions it would be an assembler, this would likely need to be something corrected by Keen.

A potential bug i fond between these machines and the assembler with co-op mode on. If one of these machines is in co-op and an assembler is producing parts it seems that one of the synthesizers will take away some of the production que.

Iron Synth works like a refinery, stone ore in, iron ingots out.
Mineral Synth works like an assembler, gravel in, other resource out.
These are currently working just fine on my DS.

@Vonmon I made an Iron Synth because iron is one of the most used ingots in the game and I wanted there to be a viable alternative for it as well.

By default, these synthesizers should produce heaps of silicon in addition to with the few ingots of whatever trace minerals the player required.

After all, 93% of the asteroids are made mostly of the stuff...

@IQuick - All portions of this mod are working. You will need refined stone (gravel) to put into the Mineral Syhtesizer and then you choose what it creates int he Production menu as you would an assembler.

I have updated the mod to produce less and require more Gravel, I've made this change as I do not want this to be a viable alternative to exploring and mining. It still may undergo tweaks and balancing but I feel this is a more appropriate setting values.

This is great, though could I ask for a version that needs the same amount of materials, energy, and time to make 0.1 ingot instead of 1 ingot?
