i just noticed mp5k has no sound XD
you can't just have him take out parts of the mod because of your personal mods man
So you are welcome
instead of politely correcting me, how thoughtful of you :)
:) Good luck either way, it's nice to see some other sound mods popping up. Ever since I released my mom before the workshop was available, the soundmods have been scarce :)
The distant sounds sound like the original, but I could be wrong. I don't work for hollywood either, but the quality in each sound is different. They don't share any unity. For example (not exactly real examples, just made up) The m4 has a lot of base, but the m249 sounds like it's shooting from inside a tin can. It's easy to tell the difference in quality between two sounds.
The sounds are off in terms of the sound matching the gun it's coming out of. But, that's a realism topic and it's up to you if you follow that.
Too loud as in the wave forms extending past the limits in the audio file. Again, if you're confused, you can add me and I'll show you.
Yes I did edit the sounds myself/have the right to, some of them were purchased and other sounds I used and tweaked that I already had when I made the sound mod for Arma 2.
So please don't talk about stealing to me bud.
You asked for feedback, and I'm telling you my general observations. I've made my own as well, if you want to look at it, add me, and ask me I'll do my best to help you out but. . . Yeah.
Maybe if they gave constructive feed back I could make some tweaks or improve some things....
Failing that...
Place the mod .vpk file in the custom folder and not workshop...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom
Either one of those things should fix it for ya mate.
