I suppose in some sense they appear that way. Never occurred to me. The station itself is still a work in progress. I have the version which you see in the picture, as well as a standalone variant that isn't bound to an asteroid. Both of which of course are empty on the inside right now. But they are mainly designed for my Vitannian ships and is essentially why I haven't released them.

The station looks really fucking cool, but the ships look like actual ships that would be in the water.
