Well the good news is I am no longer having that bug where remoteExec stops working. The bad news is now I am having another problem where the server just locks up for no reason and everyone has to disconnect before it comes back. This issue is way more difficult to troubleshoot but removing this mod seems to have resolved it?

Unfortunately I can't provide better troubleshooting instructions than that, as it could still absolutely be another mod causing this problem. I'm not confident in what is causing the issue as my server has way too many mods already and this issue isn't something that can be replicated easily. It just happens or it doesn't.

Well uh, crud, I seem to have utterly forgotten to get back to you on this. Sorry!!

But good news is judging by the fact that my Liberation server isn't barfing up errors, the fix may have worked! Results are inconclusive so far but if you don't hear from me assume it's working now! I'm gonna try to run it in an op in the next week or so and see what happens.

I did try to test it but never got back with any conclusive results because I frankly don't know what the heck I'm doing half the time. But I will test this and see if it works!

New update 1.6.1.6 : - Change the mode from 1 to 2 in the CfgRemoteExec to avoid the whitelist function.

Ace i have tried to reach you to test this update before but you never respond :s.

Also holy shit this mod is a God send. All these years of the Taru being so utterly useless... Now I want to use it in my next op.

Btw your video demonstrating the Taru pod leads to a private video, and we can't view it. :(

The transport pod has a whopping 20 slots of ACE cargo, it's not as useless as you might think, especially when paired with this mod.

Yeah, it's called the AWC nyx in game; I was thinking of it and the marshall being paradroppable. I think I was confused by the transport pod and how useless it is in game modes; be nice if we could stow something in it like ace's cargo feature, but..

Yo Rosen, You talk of the Wiesel tank ? Yeah if its this it would be a collision nightmare and i think it's a bit heavy for tranport too :s.

I swear I saw a vehicle transport pod variant somewhere, but I might be misremembering. It's a pity we can't have something like a Wiesel or similar stowed in a pod for dropoff like that, but I imagine the collision mesh would be nightmarish.

Hello Drofseh, thx for the head up, it is a relicat of some code i have tested on live dedicated environment where the // comment throw some error sometimes...So "coment" tu use it.

You are right it should be better to use // but i think the little change in performance in the code is not worth a new update for it...

Maybe if i do another update more consequent later i will keep that in mind.

Or if you can provide some numbers showing huge optimisation yeah i will change it now.

Hello, I've noticed you use the comment command a lot in your code.
Switching to // or /* */ will give you faster code.

This command is evaluated during execution, and as such is infinitely slower than other SQF comment methods (//comment or /*comment*/; which do not exist at runtime).

Had some amusing times with this mod, the parachuting troop pods is a good time, and resupplies in the field. Had an issue with some guys clientside of the server -sometimes- losing the options but it's unclear if it might've been ACE's tendency to lose the winkey interaction menu sometime. Only thing I can think of wanting to add in that regard would be some sort of vehicle pod like the transport VIV wise, but I think that's Bohemia's code issue. So i have added this to my Exile server. i see all the options but it wont let me or any of my players to attach the pods to the empty taru.

I'm beyond perplexed in how i've never heard of this mod till today nor that it isn't a vanilla arma function, because it's clearly what the taru was designed for. Bethesda needs to do an 'official modpack' DLC or something at this point with all this QOL stuff. Or, hell, isn't this why we bought helicopters? Crazy. :civvie:
