@Left 4 Rage Man I wish I remember how to mod L4D2, cause yeah that'd be super easy, basically just changing a single value from like 1 to 3 if I recall correctly. There is my other Mutation, Solo No Bots, though of course you can't resurrect on incap which is probably the mechanic you're looking for

Is it possible to add realism version of this mutation, IE removing the glow on items, body shot penalty, and witches kill instantly?

PLEASE HELP! Whenever i load it up, the bots always spawn and when i get pinned down/get incapacitated thats it, i dont get immediately revived. Anyone might know how to fix this, or if this is happening to anybody else?

@toughelite232 if you don't want hordes to spawn, check out "Last Man on Earth" which is specials only. This mutation is rather difficult, it's designed to be training for those hoping to eventually solo maps without bots.

A couple tips:
*Use shotguns, AK47 and melee weapons
*Move forward as quickly as you can. Sprinting through the map is the best way to minimize how many specials you encounter.
*Leave normal zombies alive when you can help it, it'll stop them from spawning ahead of you.

Maybe if you disabled hordes spawning but kept the already existing commons in it'd be something I could run but as it stands I killed 2 specials, and thea fter that either a tank or an horde would spawn in, that sok, but just after that two more specials, sometimes 3 which i'd question, but thats usually if I manage to clip one of the 2 existing ones.

@toughelite Specials are programmed to run away after they hit you. I'll admit it's not stellar (hunters in particular are dicks about swiping one final time) but you can mash m2 while in the "getting back up" pose and sometimes hit them first, causing them to stumble.

As for commons, they have a nasty habit of sneaking up around you, which is why I find Shotgun+melee the best loadout for this mutation. You need to mostly worry about maintaining forward momentum and keeping your personal space cleared.

Well can you also add a part so that the special infected that lowered you to 30 hp is dead so it can't just slap you after pinning you, also the get up after being pinned aspect isn't helping much considering most times when i'm pinned infected build up around me so i'ms crewed nomatter what, this is kinda a big problem still.

@Kiwi, have you played Last Man on Earth? Navigate to the Mutations menu from the main menu and you can play it, don't even need mods.

Yeah, aDm, you run Realism Expert Solo campaigns, you no longer qualify for this mod, haha. This was designed to be somewhere in between Last Man on Earth and straight "solo no bot" runs, a middle ground of difficulty.

I just played The Streets seven times and didn't see any pattern in the Tank spawns. Also never got more than two in one playthrough, like in a normal campaign. I think you've definitely got some other mod affecting your game.

@4Scoops: The official mod "Flu Season" sounds like what you're looking for. Just kick the bots, it's a pretty fun challenge.

If you want no Specials, try Lone Survivor, which I linked to in my last post. Nothing but commons, good for some mindless mayhem. I wanted LMwH to be as close as possible to a "vanilla" Left 4 Dead 2 campaign, with only a few compensations for not having teammates (namely no defibs and the ability to self-revive).

Yeah melee weapons are almost mandatory I've found, as are shotguns on higher difficulties.

I tried this, it's really difficult. In regular LMOE, it's easy enough to focus on the individual special infected and dodge them, but here you'll often find yourself trying to move out of the way of the specials while commons slow you down. Melee weapons highly recommended, as you WILL get swarmed. A lot.
