Stupid map. Makes no sense.

Wow, thanks guys. Glad you liked it so much. I have been working on a (rather large) track and nearly finished, but the Unity 5 update broke it in several ways and I basically stopped playing at that point. I'm sure I'll get back to it eventually though.

had to play the Map 3 Times , cause it was so damn epic. i see what you did there with those Green Portals in the End :D :gumo: i keep looking forward for your maps

Holy crap this map was honestly amazing, infuriating yes, but so satisfying and hectic(that green path tho). The ending fucked me up but I made it. Please make more maps like this that are super difficult, infuriating, and have multiple paths of whoch one is correct and the rest lead to death, I love them.

Sincerely,
Vashaa

And what elements in particular made it not-good? Was there any particularly frustrating transition? The deliberately misleading arrows/paths?
DJ_COLDCUTS 28 Mar, 2015 @ 5:03pm
Wasn't good.
White Grey  [author] 28 Mar, 2015 @ 5:03pm
Wow, that's pretty extreme! I'm obviously going to keep making them when I want to, but I'd like to know why you feel so negatively about this track. Could you elaborate?
DJ_COLDCUTS 28 Mar, 2015 @ 3:56pm
Please refrain from making any more courses. Thank you.

I think that would be pretty cool too. My initial goal with this track was to remake the original, but my desire to create something and my inexperience with the editor got in the way.

Honestly, I don't think I'm good enough to recreate it properly, with everything matching.

Also, it's definitely possible to run through White's Machine without turning off boost a single time. I even did so in the video, with the exception of momentarily stopping for certain mid-air maneuvers.

Please try to remake Hardcore Death Machine 1:1

with the ability to run trough the full track with boost on, just like in the original :) that would be really cool i think.

Great to hear! Based on my own testing I was getting near or even greater than double the previous rates throughout the majority of the track. Except the very end, like you said. But that shit's just all crazy. Hopefully this can help reach out to a few more people.

I think your changes may have helped, there are still some fps drops for me near the end, but I think it is actually better. :)
White Grey  [author] 9 Jan, 2015 @ 2:36pm
I've made some changes to improve framerates. Let me know if they work!
White Grey  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 7:28pm
Thanks for playing!

This was very fun, thanks for making it!
White Grey  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 11:26am
Thanks bud! Have a good one.
NOF 8 Jan, 2015 @ 3:59am
nice job
White Grey  [author] 6 Jan, 2015 @ 2:45pm
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Did you have a favourite part?
SalamiRaccoon 6 Jan, 2015 @ 7:44am
I love it! The confusion that mutliple 'wrong' paths add to the level is brilliant! Even if that doesn't factor in, just keeping to the white track as the author suggests is awesome and trippy and just great! Well done :D

No problem. Thanks for your help and your comments.

I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance.
White Grey  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 4:09pm
I see. Well, it would be good to find a way of making the track more efficient. I'm still working on figuring out that kinda stuff.
despacito 3 4 Jan, 2015 @ 2:57pm
It's not you, it's my machine. Low graphics performance = low reaction time.
White Grey  [author] 4 Jan, 2015 @ 2:51pm
With enough effort, I'm sure pretty much anyone could finish it, but I definitely understand if people don't want to put that kinda work/time in. Is there any particular part that you have trouble with, and do you feel like any of the difficulty is 'unfair'?

And thanks for enjoying the idea!
despacito 3 4 Jan, 2015 @ 7:12am
Wow, that's really cool! (Although I'll most likely never be able to finish it,) there's clearly a lot of work put into this track!

Multipath levels are popular now.
