Nice. Is there a way to also may skill icons in the lower middle smaller? I always felt the vanilla HUD icons in general are too big and distract from the view of space. I always use the keyboard to use those anyway. 1-8. So only need a small icon to see what is available.

Just gonna repeat what other guys fore me already mentioned:

1) In the anchored UI, when buttons are non-clickable, I think they could be grayed, so you know if shipyard has ships are not without clicking for example
2) if you could I reccomend making the radar more 3D like the original so it is easier to understand.

How about a smaller instrument panel at the bottom, of the same design? I don't like the size of this one. Too damned big.

Just got the game and hiding that God awful UI is a must but I cannot for the life of me get this to work :( I started a new game and restarted the game a couple times and still same default UI. Any ideas? Thanks!

@phila just updated it using Domi advice by capitalizing the Spg letter let me know if it works for you. It worked when I just tested it. Cheers!

I can not use teh mod in game. I installed it in teh in game menue, checked the box, run a new game... still i get the old awfull hud that prevents me from playing the game... Pleas help me. Your work looks really nice.

Nice Mod, with a small bug.
On my Windows PC the Mod used folder spg2. Therefore the game didn't accept it. Had to change to Spg2 (with capital letter). Now it's working.

Thanks for the mod, this hex UI is very neat. Much lighter than the original, and the starchart interface is less of an eye burner. ^^

I would say there are two little flaws:

1) In the anchored UI, when buttons are non-clickable, I think they could be grayed, so you know if shipyard has ships are not without clicking for example.
2) I find the radar much less readable. But I'm fairly new to the game so that might be still needing to adjust.

Again, it's very minor, and that won't prevent me from using it and thanking you for it, but since I like it I thought I could share my thoughts about it.

it seems to be a hit and miss, so it looks like its not just your mod as I deactivated all my mods and still have the occasional game start issue...if it happens again I'll send a log to Oliver.

@(SG)Cynder not sure, just loaded it fine with DLC myself. Do you have any other mods installed that have GUI elements in them? Could be conflicting with other mods. What do you mean with 1/4?

so with this mod + DLC, the game is grashign when its intial loading when starting the game after loading 1/4....any chance at looking at that?

Menu mask made fullscreen, and holocom logo redone. Working on more gui elements, will update as I get them done, cheers all!

Is it posssible to set up scripts so you can have the Captain, Gunner, and Engineer buttons all working at same time. That would really be fun with all the mods available simultaineously !

I like it. Was strange at first to get used to when using the original one, but this one is nicer. I like the color and easy of use. If it were a little smaller it would be perfect. Hopefully this can happen.

@VaeliusNoctu No worries, thanks for the feeback! Yea this one was meant to be uber simplistic. Maybe next one I try to make super fancy like an organic zerg looking menu, or even a Star Trek themed (Next Generation) menu.

Hey i tryd your mod and disabled it after. Its a nice idea but it robs much Ambience i cant call it better then it looks to cold for me with that Hud.

hello can you maybe change the hud so that the complete Permamen Hud elements was smaler? I see now reason why we need so BIG Skill Icons or so a Big Box that is only for collect, docking etc. The only HUD Element that must be "Big" if it was usefull (and its not usefull^^) is the Radar.

EDIT btw the Menue Elements on the Planet Surface looks better with Standard Settings.
