haha no worries mate. I'm actually working on a project, and wanted to pay an homage to the most popular collections on the workshop. Yours just scrapes in at the bottom of the first page.

@Captain Redbeard - I've actually been spending a lot of time in SE the past few months and have some new stuff out and new stuff on the way! I have stepped away form the exploration Builds a bit but have more survival ready stuff in the works. Thanks for your comment and so glad you still enjoy this dinosaur of a collection.

Hi, I know that these ships are quite old at this point, but I actually really like the design language and overall look of the collection. Were you planning to ever get back into SE and crank out some new ships?
DoctorDiscord  [author] 11 Jul, 2015 @ 5:57am
Yes. Most of this collection has been upgraded with o2. Glad you like it:)

thnk you for the blueprint.

Thank you so much JD

These ships need more attention, they are so well done.

Love seeing people make additions to my ships. For Exploration I try to build a bit under powered so there is room to grow and people can personalize these ships by adding there own touch to it.

Nice. Wish they would take the first page of the most popular mods and give them vintage status or atleast armored thrusters.
Princess Celestia 16 Jan, 2015 @ 2:24am
...So, the server I play on has a lot of mods installed, and I really like the basic shape of this hull. But at the same time, I saw a lot of room for improvement if I made use of said mods, so I did this [i.imgur.com].

In hindsight, I might have gone a wee bit overboard.

Thanks, I don't like to take designs so I'm making my own for my first fleet build.
DoctorDiscord  [author] 14 Jan, 2015 @ 2:05pm
@Dat Newb. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Be my guest:)
Dat Newb 14 Jan, 2015 @ 12:19pm
Mind if I build and post similar ship concepts with different designs?
DoctorDiscord  [author] 14 Jan, 2015 @ 2:57am
@Princess That is GREAT to hear. Thank you so much for testing it out and the feedback. I will take a look at the conveyor system, and putting a grav gen in... Again thank you for the feedback. And I'm thrilled it worked as planned!
Princess Celestia 14 Jan, 2015 @ 1:24am
Built one of these on a friend's survival server, and I am not disappointed in the slightest. Used it to retrieve two exploration-spawned fighters shortly after I fueled it up and disconnected from the projector station, and nothing went even the slightest bit wrong.

A suggestion, though? You might want to consider retooling the conveyor layout behind the landing deck collectors now that the turret's been removed. It's a bit over-complicated for what it is right now, and you might free up the space to install a low-radius and very-low-power spherical gravity generator to draw loose components into the collector bank.

Turret has been removed, thank you guys for your feedback on that.
Derp & Junk 8 Jan, 2015 @ 5:00pm
Uh yeah, I would advise moving the turret to behind the cockpit. Use some ormor blocks with slanted blocks to make the edges look nice, that way the turret has a good field of fire without the engine pods getting in the way. Hey maybe paint the turret ramp orange, feels right with the other coloration here.
DoctorDiscord  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 3:45pm
ooh good idea on the collector, I'll ook into adding that. I went back and forth on the turret placement, and if it should have one at all. The view isnt bad tho.
DoctorDiscord  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 11:44am
@Nrky I have a refinery frigate in the works for this collection that might have the look and function youre looking for. I should have it up on the workshop today. Glad you like my stuff, and thanks for commenting
DoctorDiscord  [author] 8 Jan, 2015 @ 11:13am
Yeah that would be cool. Built for exploration tho, so no pistons or rotors.
Callistemon 8 Jan, 2015 @ 9:23am
Nice initial design, could use a crane arm or a crusher unit to grind up the ships. :)
