Thanks! And it was well worth the time -- this is a nicely executed mod and great piece of work. I only wish that I'd seen it sooner.

And that, you know... that I'd remembered to include the compatibility trigger in HR's last release, but I'm affraid I can be easily distractable at times... -.-;;

Vim Razz, thank you very much for finding the time to investigate and resolve this! And just thank you in general, as well. Your work is a pretty impressive contribution. Hope I didn't cause you too much of a headache.

@Grandsome,
I looks like you're correct. Human Resources (v1.3.4) isn't properly detecting this mod to trigger HR's menu compatibility setting for it. I'll get that fixed later tonight.

@Beans,
Having gone through your mod pretty thoughly last week to build the afoementioned compatibility setting, I'm pretty comfortable saying it doesn't have any problems with Rebirth 3.53.
Beans  [author] 2 Apr, 2015 @ 11:48am
Checked it out and didn't find any obvious conflicts with the 3.52 code. Also did some manual tests and everything seems to work as expected. If a detailed description of any issues can be provided, I'll try to troubleshoot a bit deeper.

Maybe it's a confict with the Human Resource mod, I'll troubleshoot when I have the time for testing.

Sorry for the delay. Haven't been playing Rebirth all that much lately. I'll try to check the code to see if it conflicts with the latest stuff by the end of the day.

And you're welcome, SirJavalot. =)

I'll admit, I do agree about the price, but figured it sorta offsets the fact that there is no "investment" cost like you would see with a software purchase for the Skunk. Anyway... design decisions aside, I hope this mod has improved the Reborth experinece for at least a few people!

Just installed, seems to work fine for me on 3.52. @Grandsome - maybe you have another mod that conflicts with this?

Thank you very much, it's great. Although sometimes the text is a bit too large for the little menu, and I do think the pricing is a little high. (I'm a procrastinator sorry :D ).
Grandsome 31 Mar, 2015 @ 3:01pm
Doesn't seem to work with 3.52.

This mod was built and tested under 3.1, as well as flagged 3.1 dependent. What specific issue are you having?

Please update it for XR 3.1

Ah well. I'm certain I saw someone post somewhere about working on a mod similar to what you want. They might be stumbling at modding the UI windows like I am. Changing a few values or adding a few lines of script is pretty easy in this game once you know where it is. Running into a case where you'll have to modify a window suddenly makes it into a much bigger project. I didn't even find a decompiler for those files until my second day of research into XR modding, lol.

No, sadly i had checked and just rechecked the Nexus, no one has done it yet :(
Don't think many people have realized the training system exists yet, LoL
Beans  [author] 14 Jan, 2015 @ 11:33pm
The vendor thing is probably much easier than what I was thinking of. I wanted to come up with something more like sending the employee into training, and they come out a bit later with some variable chance to have gained stat points in each category. You might find something at the X Rebirth Nexus with what you want.

I'm currently working on understanding the UI/Lua stuff (and unfortunately I don't have a ton of time to spend), but if I come up with anything in the skills area again I'll update this one with notes about it.

any chance of puchasable VR training for employees? the vanilla make you find a bunch of rare items craft them into a super rare item, then play the chat mini game with someone you hope has high enough skills, and if they do, give them that expensive item to be able to train once.....

How about being a bit realistic and having a vendor that sells them? can you implement this?
