this is a perfect mod. speeds up game's in epic speed. feels like cheat but it isn't

ia don't seem to understand that they have to build it so it's a little bit cheating but i don't care it makes my games more fun, don't nerf it or please post the nerfed version of this mod aside

WARNING: I've found that this mod will crash you game if you try to load a mod where it was active.

@crashburn274 you can always edit the values in the XML of the mod
crashburn274 10 Jun, 2021 @ 8:44pm
It's interesting but feels far too much like a cheat because the cost is so low. Building of the era cost at least 85, and even at that cost this building would be overpowered. All that happiness, and production and it grants extra gold instead of an upkeep? This is as powerful as a wonder. I like the idea of creating a production building for the early game, but it's got to cost at least as much as a monument, have an upkeep, and shouldn't have quite so much scaling power. Perhaps +2 Production, + 5% production, and 2 Maintenance for a cost of 80. It would risk dipping the early economy red but still be worth building.
Webpage_unavailable 6 Aug, 2020 @ 11:34am
This costs way to little production
NicolasCageMLG 23 Nov, 2019 @ 12:49pm
Hello. I think you should augment the amount of production needed for. With 3 production, it's almost a gift :) .
joop234 26 Sep, 2019 @ 6:31am
Can't download it either. Can this be fixed?
Wouter 14 Jun, 2019 @ 3:06am
Does this mod still work? Because I cant download it.
Panther ausf.G 16 Nov, 2018 @ 2:44pm
This is probably one of the best mods for civ 5. No joke
Kali 17 Apr, 2018 @ 7:15pm
I think it should be changed to masonry, because of building sculpting, and more incentive to go down production line first.

This is a great building for starting out any new city. And it only gets better as the city grows.
TiraboTurbos 20 Apr, 2017 @ 3:14am
You'll have to create a new game hrafninn, many mods crash your save if you add them after the game's been made.
QuantumPaws 27 Dec, 2016 @ 3:07am
Save game crashes during load when this mod is activated.
Gameingtree 21 Dec, 2016 @ 10:25pm
dude i city challenge multiplayer so you can get 2 citys all wonders in one city 100 poupuation bam non-sense
Baldrick 30 Nov, 2016 @ 2:31pm
I do however love the idea!
Baldrick 30 Nov, 2016 @ 2:30pm
I would probably move it to unlock somewhere towards the end of classical or the beginning of Medival, and also make it +1 production for 2 citizens starting when the city has 6 (so +1 at 6, +2 at 8, etc..)
Zhellex 14 Oct, 2016 @ 6:22pm
@kaitou1011 It says it unlocks at trapping

It's been a while since I've played, but I think I'm having a problem with this mod. I remember the town square being available right from the start, but even though I made sure the mod was active, the town square isn't showing as a building I can build anymore... still using the same version of the mod as I last played, and I haven't added any new mods since it was last functional. The game also terminates when I try to load up a save that had this mod active. Has anyone else had this problem? Thoughts on fixing it?

Scorvetta Prime 20 May, 2016 @ 6:53am
I would actually like a cheat mod for gold really, I think gold production is way to slow in the early game for the cost of buildings and such, I was wondering if this mod would work on a multiplayer map for me and my friend tho, and if you know how could u make a similiar mod to go even higher on gold production, u cant add it for us who like that lol. I haven't figured out how to do that yet for a multiplayer game with a friend, thanks anyways and good job :)
Mustard 5 May, 2016 @ 9:07pm
Just keep it as it is, but could you make it so the AI could build it to make it balanced because the AI will never build it ever.
eric.beaussart 28 Apr, 2016 @ 9:16am
This is not cheat ! Just interesting opportunities !
HoldinMahGroin 5 Apr, 2016 @ 11:26am
I like it atleast being an option.

This mod goes great with the prehistoric era mod and the epic and marithon speed settings. It allows the player and AI to create a possible advanage using these speeds. Great Work!
Jedi Yadiyada 12 Feb, 2016 @ 8:48pm
I´d like 1% production per population
Awesomah Powah! 5 Feb, 2016 @ 10:27pm
I find this mod a bit op, if anything make it a little hard to built or make it a wonder.
Zersetzung 24 Dec, 2015 @ 1:21am
Useful for founding cities later in the game. Maybe move this to the medieval era or rennisance era, it's too OP for the early game
Just A Normal Person 14 Oct, 2015 @ 1:26pm
hey dude do me a favor, don't put every single fookin tag on your mod, i searched total conversion i expect to find conversion mods you twat
inahut 2 Oct, 2015 @ 2:14pm
anyway, think about modifying the mod to include negative "larger population" modifiers in conjunction with the positive modifiers. could be very interesting.
Gabadur  [author] 1 Oct, 2015 @ 3:51pm
Guys, the reason i cant change the tags is that I lost the original files so i cannot upload a new one. Sorry. If you think its too over powered u can change it in MODS folder. Depends if you want a fun easy game or a challenge
inahut 1 Oct, 2015 @ 6:35am
yes and the UI tag is by and by Inappropriate!
inahut 1 Oct, 2015 @ 6:34am
makes sense--as much and as reasonably--that "by definition a larger population should get things done" less efficiently, with more waste, more trash, more consequences of having more bodies occupying a locale, yet I agree with your approach. I think it could be expanded, as all good mods are, to include some of the negative modifiers of "a larger population should..." Perhaps, if you follow the game's tendency to increase unhappiness in some instances, add a happiness modifier or a diplomacy complaint as when one claims land anywhere near another civ. Yet the happiness modifiers are largely boring but I offer this just to add to your thinking
Cheese Monger Esq. 20 Sep, 2015 @ 8:06pm
Used this recently, and its pretty powerful still. makes early game easy for everything. all my builds turn into 1 turn builds.
Peter34 12 Sep, 2015 @ 7:15pm
Yeah, I found this mod via the "UI" tag too, which is inarguably inappropriate.

Concept-wise, it sounds interesting, but I think it's overpowered. The "description" of the mod fails to say how much it costs to build this mod, but even at a fairly high cost, I think it's too much. I suggest change to +0 Production, +1 Gold, +10% Production, no % bonus to gold and a further +0.25 Production per citizen (this amounts to +1 Production per four, not per two, citizens), and having a quite high cost to build.

And even then I'm sceptical... Most buildings give specific bonuses, so that they make a lot of sense to build in some cities, make some sense t build in other cities, and make no sense (waste of time/opportunity cost) in other cities again. But this is the kind of mod that you'd always build in your capital, without having to think first, once it reaches size 6 or so, and that you'd pretty soon also want to queue up for building in your other cities.
fig 12 Sep, 2015 @ 12:15pm
Downvoted for putting this in the UI category. Get a grip dude, people looking for UI stuff don't want to see unique buildings.

A warning to anyone that is getting this mod, I have had an error when running this mod. The error I had was Civ V terminating runtime, causing the game to shut down after I click "load" in the load game menu. If you download this mod, I suggest making sure you can load it, by seting up a game with this mod, testing it by saving, then loading from that game. If that works two times in a row, try it once after exiting to main menu. If it works then, you should be fine. If not, disable the mod, and the games should load as normal (though you will have to start a new one if this mod was active on the last save)

is this a civilisation? no. stop spamming the tags.

... im sick of seeing this mod everytime i click a new tag
RJ 28 Jun, 2015 @ 6:27am
@gabadur

It's easy, just update the mod in modbuddy, go to the screen where you type in the desc, and there is a list of tags. By default only a few are actually ticked, so I don't know how you don't know how to add/remove tags o.o
