Pretty good map, but the event with the container falling on you in chapter 4 is completely unexpected on your first play, and the finale doesn't tell you where the rescue is, we thought we were supposed to stay at the top of the lighthouse all the time, and it never told me I was supposed to go to the balloon (there are several places that look like possible rescue spots, like the different boats everywhere).

Amazing campaign! Played on expert and was fairly easy until the finale, my only gripe is just the difficulty being too easy (I think its the large open areas that make it easy) and the arrows pointing to saferoom REALLY dont need to be everywhere. Overall amazingly well made campaign and I loved it :p4g_singing:

I never could get the bot players to use the ammo pile in the last map of this campaign. I finally found a solution for that. It's a mod called Deployable Ammo Packs by ChimiChamo. It's easy to use because it doesn't require a console command. The ammo packs just replace the incendiary ammo packs. It's a good solution if there's at least one incendiary ammo pack in the campaign.

The bot players never would use that ammo pile or the supplies on that table near the train during the finale. They all grabbed a sniper rifle that was laying on the ground. I never noticed that problem in Fatal Freight version 1.5.

Nice final but other captres feels same. Also nice shitting jokes fact that my friend died in project zomboid because of shitting mod problem is not lack of toilet paper or toilet problem this he automaticly start shitting animation front of hoard attack. he is only person died in this way in my server this day one of most funniest day in my entire life we laught so hard.

Fatal Freight Remastered is a short campaign that I find fascinating because of how it doesn't try to stand out nor do anything fancy, rather it feels like retail quality. As far I know, there are no custom assets other than the soundtrack and the radio voice lines, only existing game assets beautifully re-arranged to create a brand new experience. Nothing in the campaign sticks out like a sore thumb. Now, while the mapper did a very good job re-using existing game assets, this comes at the cost of each level feeling the same. Its the same industrial freight location everywhere you go, nothing really sticks out, nothing too memorable and there aren't any gimmicks to be found. And that's fine, the overall experience feels very vanilla and solid. If I were to be told that Valve made this campaign or if it were official DLC content, I would believe it because of how retail it feels. I give this short yet solid campaign an 8/10.

my review of "Fatal Freight" - 9/10, Difficulty: 7.5/10

-playing it on expert realism is pretty fun either solo or with friends (i dont have friends)

-and it's a pretty solid map from start to finish and i enjoyed it overall

-my only complaint is that Map 4 is a little short than the other maps but other than that it's fine
but i do get FPS drop on Map 4 so definitely should be a little more optimized

-the finale was good combination of Scavenge and waiting so props to the map makers

that will be my honest review of "Fatal Freight"

Couldn't fit that on my first com : if in the future, it become possible to assemble all the 7 parts in one only it would be cool. Only if cause I imagine it is something very hard to work on espacially in terms of map size.

Hands down my favorite map in the workshop!

Really good campaign overall, if we could elect community maps to be integrated in the base game, this should be the first on the votes. Great atmosphere, we can tell the map was really balanced through the testing. Haven't really tried versus yet but i saw many ways and spots for the infected to play around so thats great. My issues with the map atm :
- there's a scripting problem in the final where the dialogue fail and the doors doesn't open which force you to go back to lobby, happenned multiples times in coop and would be very frustrating for future versus game.
- Still about the final, the small ladder area before starting the final seems like a dangerous spot for early game teamplay in versus especially, maybe a small iron stair would be better, to avoid to be punished hard before the final.

8.8/10. very well-made and fun! i felt like all of the chapters except for the finale chapter dragged on a bit, but it maybe i was just in a bit of an impatient mood while first playing this lol. as warhawk said in their review below, this map is generous with consumables and has lots of side rooms for scavenger players such as me. saferooms have some pretty funny graffiti dialogue & nice map lore. the custom music is also very nice :)) (downloaded on gamemaps)

Fatal Freight: Remastered: 8.5/10, Difficulty: 7/10, Length: Long. Played On Expert.

Fatal Freight: Remastered is a great Custom Map that is directly comparable to a vanilla campaign in terms of Quality and Difficulty. It was very fun, enjoyable, and well-made overall. This map was somewhat easy for a good team on Expert, just like a vanilla campaign would be.

There was a somewhat difficult Moderate Gauntlet on Chapter 4 (we lost a pub player to a Dead Drop here, after he walked off a ledge and wound up hanging after we had all dropped).

The Finale was a fairly novel Scavenge 7 Cans-Defend-Tank-Defend-Double Tank. The Finale had plenty of consumables, explosives, and wide-open loops to make it manageable for a decent team.

The rest of the map was fairly generous with consumables and had plenty of side rooms/areas to explore for scavenger-type players...

...One notable oddity on this Custom Map was that we never once found a single Military Sniper Rifle, and so most of us stuck with Hunting Rifles.

There were also lots of small bits of info and lore put into this map to find and read, for those interested in map lore.

If you think this is easy. Try expert with bots only and no mods except good music.
I only play with bots. I enjoy this campaign each time I play it.
I only have a small issue. As I mentioned I always use bots. I also always carry a melee weapon.
I would really like to see the Katana earlier in the campaign.
Other than that small item, this campaign is golden 10/10.

Awesome map with great visuals. Little bit to easy on Expert but maybe we did have a good run or something.
