This mod still work?

I would like to bring up something that was brought up before: do you think you might be able to do a version of this with the bottom texture on all sides but the top?

I know the author of the other mod like this was going to do several versions, but I don't think it's going to happen at this point. Also, for me at least, it would be nice to have it from the same mod instead of having to get multiple separate mods...

Brilliant!

hey :) i need this block for my small ships ...

Confirmed this mod works as-is with DX11.
Rhedd 17 Mar, 2015 @ 2:34am
It does deform and has build models, so it's quality. I appreciate your offer, regardless.

I'd actually forgotten I'd requested this. Now I have to go rebuild a chunk of my latest station to be better! That's part of the fun, though! ^_^ Thanks!

Let me know if it's a proper, deformable armor block Rhedd and I'll put something together if it's not :)
Rhedd 17 Mar, 2015 @ 12:34am
Oh! Thanks guys! Obviously I need to work on my searching skills, or something. :P
Tristavius  [author] 16 Mar, 2015 @ 11:58pm
Meant to post that myself the other day as well. Also not sure if it is fully deformable (armour like the default interior wall is) or if it is a solid piece. Will test it later.

@rhedd here, this guy did one last year: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=359374311 (it was the first result for searching 'interior' ;) )
Tristavius  [author] 19 Feb, 2015 @ 12:43am
Will see what I can do Rhedd :)
Rhedd 19 Feb, 2015 @ 12:25am
I use this thing all the time since I found it. Thanks!

I SURE do wish I had a version that was the opposite, though. Bottom texture on 5 sides and the top on the 6th, or even the bottom texure on all six sides.

Storm Dragon you are misinterpreting the meaning of "triangles" it does not mean it is making it weaker. Triangles has to do with the actual 3D model itself, more triangles will lag your system. All this does it take out the little curves and bumps on the block so its smoother meaning it wont be as hard on your computer.
Ulfsark 15 Jan, 2015 @ 5:19am
@Storm Dragon, says the person who can't spell "they're." Your comment still makes no sense. What is your complaint?
SwazzozzawS 11 Jan, 2015 @ 10:00pm
People dont understand anything because there idiots, I meant interior, no one is stupid enough to use interior blocks for the exterior.
Tristavius  [author] 11 Jan, 2015 @ 4:35am
This is a replacement for interior walls (or more accurately was built as an interior floor piece) not outer armour :)
jb_aero 11 Jan, 2015 @ 1:06am
@Storm Dragon, this IS an interior wall. You use it as an interior wall, and it does interior wall things, as it says in the description. Chill.
SwazzozzawS 10 Jan, 2015 @ 1:38pm
Im sorry ships are weak as is and now you want us to put this on top of the Interior Walls? I would rather coat my exterior hull in heavy armor regardless of acceleration reduction.
Tristavius  [author] 10 Jan, 2015 @ 7:48am
By request, a version of this which replaces the default wall is now available as well :)

Oh snap.
Noxtor 10 Jan, 2015 @ 2:30am
Ya,, This is exactly what i need for my ship.. the more things You can change to reduce the amount of triangles the better. Ships are getting bigger and bigger, and so is the cost on the Vid cards, i got a beefy card, but my friends dont all have good cards.. so being able to reduce the lag they get around our capship is vary important.
Thank You.

RE: replacer version, Trist you're the best.
Braus 9 Jan, 2015 @ 8:16am
This is something of a genius idea! Nice work :)
[LP] Shadow 9 Jan, 2015 @ 6:08am
Thank you very much! It's just because I built a very comples structure with a lot og interior blocks, and replacing all of them would be nearly impossible without tearing it apart.
Tristavius  [author] 9 Jan, 2015 @ 5:51am
Yes I don't see why not! Next 24 hours or so, should be up :)
[LP] Shadow 9 Jan, 2015 @ 5:44am
Could you also make a version of this directly replacing the original block?
