Very nice to see a single block version of the medical room. Like others I'd like to see this updated to match the new look of the full sized version.

Anyone using this currently? does it cause any issues? I can't believe I didn't see this until now, this is a nice cute little med bay. I'd love to add it if it isn't presenting any issues

Will you be fixing this medbay to work with the latest update? My game seems to crash if I have any modded medbays installed.

Agreeing with Joe here. It would be great of this could top feed and also work as a pass-through conveyor block.

@Duncankong : in fact, I saw on a patch note that they changed the way the med bay work. I copy it : "We changed the mechanics of spawning in medical rooms, so all modded medical rooms should include: dummy detector_respawn in order to spawn the player as the default medical room." But I dunno what tool I have to use to create a block :/

@Nayos I agree that the block you are describing would be an interesting addition to the game but I don't have the knowledge to create something like that myself.

I had an idea. It's to made a version of this one, but without the possibility of respawn. I explain. I'm a bit upset of the fact that u need this to survive and heal you, and then u have the possibility of respawning every where. But we need a heal on our exploration ship, so... U see what I mean ?

I love it, but for the life of me I can't get the player to spawn in front of it, it's always rooms over in a random direction, usually outside.

What exactly was the size of the room you built it for, @DK ?

This is great, but it really needs a conveyor support on the back! Also,maybe you could slow the healing rate for balance?

Ooh, I was looking for a new Medbay because now that there's Oxygen, it's annoying to cram several default Medbays into a station because they are huge, and an eyesore. Thanks for this! (Oh, btw, will you be adding conveyor ports for Oxygen?)

Since the recent updates added Oxygen, and now the conveyor port on the medbay has a use.. Any chance you could update this, to add the conveyor port back onto it? Either on the top like the vanilla, or back/bottom, either way would be nice.

MrJinx, that happens with the regular medbay too. Make sure you have some open space above it.

sorry to report but this is very broken on Dedi servers. kills players on spawn and spawns them inside sometimes.

For those who requested it I have released an alternate version of this mod that allows you to build the Medbay on small ships. There is a link in the description and an explanation for why I made it a separate mod instead of an update.

@Pingers I feel the same way and that is part of the reason why I am a bit reluctant to make a small ship version. There is no way to change the healing rate or spawn time (that I am aware of). So when I make the small ship version I am planning on keeping it the same size (5x5x5 small blocks) as the large ship version so that it is not something that fits on every small ship. It would mainly be for people who make "large" small ships.

being able to spawn whereever you want is a very powerful thing in SE just to make up for it's easier intergration into smaller ships maybe it could have a longer respawn time or heals you half as fast
