gg in mods mean gm
ryangoslinglover306 19 Jun, 2020 @ 4:21am
Is there any mod that allows I N F I N I T Y speed but where when you collide with voxel materials half of your ship doesnt become dust
Flame 23 May, 2020 @ 1:19pm
I broke the game and went 214412314
DragonF1reCDN 3 Apr, 2020 @ 11:55am
only problem with traveling at the speed of light/faster:
*You're in infinite darkness forever*
Iris The CatBee 29 Jan, 2020 @ 6:02pm
I circled titan in about 1 min. i was going 1253m/s
JarCat 7 Jul, 2019 @ 4:14pm
I was able to achieve 668,000 m/s.
Redeye 14 Apr, 2019 @ 1:03pm
Now I can send Long range Missiles at sonic speeds
RendStung 26 Mar, 2019 @ 11:17pm
I really want to see how fast people can go before their PCs start getting too angry. Mine capped out around 55 km/s.
Jumbloi 26 Mar, 2019 @ 8:32pm
i saw this mod and i was thinking wait a minute i could like totally go super fast and have super good acceleration if i creat an anti-grav thruster using gravity gen and mass blocks
RendStung 2 Feb, 2019 @ 5:48pm
With this mod, I achieved a speed of 54914.04 m/s
GG
Blorb 25 Dec, 2018 @ 6:16am
i love this mod sooo much i think i might break my pc with crashing a pacific class battle cruiser into all the plannets and moons plus i might make a death star and crash that loving the mod
:steamhappy:
JDForeverMusic 19 Dec, 2018 @ 12:18pm
I have not tried the game yet however, do you cap certain thrusters soo like its a matter of thruster upgrade or did you just completely remove cap speed cause if thats the case is there a way to self cap the speed.
ArgentPhoenix11 30 Jun, 2018 @ 3:10am
OH FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

too fast. breaking space-time itself. Lost in infinite blackness
Tachanka 17 Dec, 2017 @ 11:06am
Hmm. Nuclear Engines have very large amounts of thrust...
I wonder what would happen if i held down W for a long time...

GRAVITY DRIVES FOR THE WIN
mypreaciouse 11 Oct, 2016 @ 2:28pm
left the game for about 10 minutes and when i got back i was going 147,000 meters/sec. then my game crashed because i was loading so many asteroids all at the same time lol.
vinadir 3 Sep, 2016 @ 5:36pm
There was some bad physics getting posted in this thread in april of last year! Gravity holds everything together, while citing Einstein? smh
BarryTGash 2 Sep, 2016 @ 6:17pm
@Steffanoceros It isn't gravity that keeps an object coherent (prevents it from 'falling apart' to paraphrase you). Roughly speaking, the nuclei of an objects atoms are held together by the 'Strong Force', the individual components of each nucleus are held together by the 'Weak Force'. Atoms and molecules are held together by electromagnetic force - see here for a bit more info: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/forces/funfor.html . Gravity at that scale is negligible. Oh, and don't forget: the Force is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together. :)
deadpixel40 9 Aug, 2016 @ 5:24am
I could probably get to the speed of light if i had the patience, but it took an hour to reach 0.05% the speed of light (150,000m/s)
Steffanoceros 26 Apr, 2016 @ 2:35pm
Replying to wrothgars post: How would you find somewhere in the universe where gravity does not actually exist? Because as speed increases so does relative mass, so even trillions of parsecs away from ANY source of gravitational pull as you reached near light speed your mass would be too extreme and all the energy in the universe couldn't move you faster. so no matter where you are gravity is there. Plus eventually it would just collapse into a black hole. Or if there was no gravity the object would cease to exist because all it's matter would just fall apart.
Vas 19 Apr, 2015 @ 11:48pm
Nvm, found one. :P
Vas 19 Apr, 2015 @ 11:37pm
Can you make one that maxes AT the speed of light? 299,792,458 m/s
TigerSoze 18 Apr, 2015 @ 8:21pm
what do you mean the game "breaks" at 24km/s
Wrothgar 6 Apr, 2015 @ 10:36am
therfore if the mass of an object can be redeuced to a constant of absolute zero then in theory the object conatining mass of a value of zero can then inturn be accelerated to or beyond the speed of light
Wrothgar 6 Apr, 2015 @ 10:35am
i find it funy that people still hold fast to the theory that anything with mass does not have the potential to reach the speed of light. if one were to simply exam einsteins theory's on gravitational constant in our universe in relation to newtons lawys of motion, one would realize that mass is nothing more than gravity exerting force on matter, because of this one can argue that if gravity were negated on said matter, the matter then inturn would loose its mass, therefore the statment that an object with mass cannot reach the speed of light is found to be false. the apropriate statment to this law is that an object whether possesing or be affected by a gravitational distortion in the space time continium is unable to achieve a velocity that is in equal or graeter value to that of the speed of light. so in theory if the gravity of a group of matter can be negeated so can its mass,
Moen 27 Feb, 2015 @ 8:11pm
what's the ID?
magmoose 11 Feb, 2015 @ 5:31pm
might try with the super thruster mod i can go from 0- 10000 m/s in about 5 seconds, if 24 km/s is game breaking well my heavy rig is going to crash lol cus if i make it right i could go over 24km in a second but haha lagalagalagalag
TheFurryLion🦁 23 Jan, 2015 @ 4:15am
I also modded speed for myself and I was able to reach 1 000 000 m/s, but I had like 0.0000001 FPS
Taylor Machine  [author] 23 Jan, 2015 @ 2:52am
To clarify this mod removes the speed cap (well its capped at 9999999999999999m/s but still)
the game just breaks at 24km/s but theoretically you can go faster, I have just been unable
MSD 23 Jan, 2015 @ 2:46am
loool? 24km/s is FAR OFF from the speed of light... you had to be at 300.000 km/s to reach it and as you stated, as far as our Physics knowledge goes, nothing with mass can reach 100% of the speed of light because the energy needed to move the increasing mass would also exponencially increase. Besides that, 24km/s is really far from the speed of light lol, you are not reaching even close so those Physics problems are not posed in this scenario. Still the best mod out there, to be free to reach whatever speed you (provided its below 24km/s, which I almost reached and it's useless to reach it even, as everything just rushes through and around you at ludicrous speeds ahah and the acceleration time needed is huge lol) is just awesome.
Cytrix Drakani 22 Jan, 2015 @ 2:07pm
i'd go into some really sciency thing about the relation for speed and mass which states that anything with mass, aka not electricity or light, cannot reach the speed of light, but this short version that is also the complaint is good enough, btw looks nice :D
HypercaffinatedBees 21 Jan, 2015 @ 6:52pm
let's see if my beastly rig can handle it.
Taylor Machine  [author] 21 Jan, 2015 @ 3:06pm
I didn't cap it because Iwas tired of capped speeds. I assume that anyone who uses it won't go that fast in a real game anyway as I was flying past hundreds of astroids at that speed and anyone without a super powerful rig would lag tremendously at that speed
MSD 21 Jan, 2015 @ 3:00pm
anyways its an awesome mod, love to go through space a 1km/s with really fast deadnaughts and reach my stations really quickly
MSD 21 Jan, 2015 @ 2:59pm
hmm only been able to reach about 11km/s b4 i got bored lol, just thought since you knew of the 24km/s limitation, you would cap it at 23.9 ou 22 or something, nothing else
Taylor Machine  [author] 20 Jan, 2015 @ 6:25pm
it's not capped, the game just straight up dies at 24km/s
MSD 20 Jan, 2015 @ 12:27pm
but is it capped b4 that or not lool?
Alan gets trouble today? 20 Jan, 2015 @ 6:01am
it's nice!
Taylor Machine  [author] 16 Jan, 2015 @ 4:44pm
the game breaks at 24km/s if thats what you mean
Ulfsark 16 Jan, 2015 @ 5:58am
There's still a cap ....
