great weapons btw
Thanks for import nice weapon like this. :3
Or would that not be possible since l4d2 runs on a modified version of the source engine.
I dunno, I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of thing.
And it's nice to hear that you're coming back to the l4d2 scene, since theres a lack of quality content at the moment.
Plus, I've been sort of taking a break from doing Insurgency stuff - and, to a lesser extent, l4d2 modding in general - to focus on more "original" stuff. But I will return, I promise you that.
As for the mosin and the M40A1: I'm sorta iffy about the Mosin since I don't think anything can top Lt. Rocky's masterpeice, with its model + animations ported from Red Orchestra 2. M40A1, maybe; I was thinking about MaxG3D's R700 animations. However, I would need to find some sort of workaround for it, since Insurgency's M40A1 has a fixed magazine loaded on a bullet-by-bullet casis, rather than a detachable box magazine.
Since the two rifles use the bolt action animation, the mosin could be used for one of those and the mp5 could be the base for the ump.
Unless, of course, I have no idea what I'm talking about.
thx ~
Although, I should mention: I don't do actual modelling, I do extraction and recompiling of models. There is a difference between the two.
