Cool, was thinking of making my own Nostromo. This'll be seriously great help, as all I have are block dimensions and blueprints. Again, great build!

Perhaps you could ask for help on the Steam forums. You might need to delete and re-download workshop content.

@ProgramRAM: It should work just like any other workshop subscription. If there's a problem, it is probably with Steam and/or Space Engineers.

Sweet ride! Does it come with airbags, power steering, central locking, A/C, power windows, rearview camera, stereo with subwoofer, power seat adjustments, power tailgate and seat heating?

Here are the blueprints: http://1drv.ms/1M92Pru
You will need GIMP (a free image editor) to view them.

"I can send you the diagrams I used if you like."

I spent hours digging around and came across several takes on the design. One of the things is that the Nostromo is atmosphere capable, so I wanted to use those vtol nacelles despite the annoying angle.

"do you mind if I borrow the Narcissus (credited)?"
Go for it. Would be nice to see someone else's take on the Nostromo.
My only advice would be to try and make it a bit bigger than mine. I just barely fit the Narcissus in under there, whereas the schematics show plenty of room. I only made it the size it is because I didn't want the bridge to be too big (i.e. two blocks wide instead of one).
I can send you the diagrams I used if you like.

Like you did about a year ago, I just searched around for a USCSS Nostromo. This is a great design and it looks like it could be updated with the newer blocks and such.

I was thinking of making my own Nostromo, but you did a really awesome job on it. I still might, but I think my exterior design will pale in comparison to the hull you constructed. If I do go through with my own design, do you mind if I borrow the Narcissus (credited)?

I never intended to build the huge processing plant, it would have been way to big!
I don't know how the game (or rather, how most people's computers) would handle it, but you can sure try. You can always import my model into your world if you do so.

Yeah, I agree, Warheads = Lag. But this is one of the best Nostromo I have seen yet. I'm trying to decide if I should build the huge processing center that attached when before they descend or not. Be kinda cool to use this as a sort of mining ship with a Huge Storage and Refinery center that can act as a sort of mobile station. Or maybe you could in a future update?

Gotta go. I have a few ideas now that i gotta experiment with.

For now, the warheads are just around the nuclear reactor, which doesn't destroy much of the ship. Putting too many warheads around would cause too much lag when they are detonated (it already causes massive lag!). However, I was thinking of adding a few more around the ship to destroy other parts of it.

Awesome that this has a Self Destruct Function. How effective is it at totally scuttling the ship? Sure in the film the nostomo is totally vaporized in a bright flash, but I'de be happy with at least 75% total Destruction... You know, Just to be sure...

Nice, I like that reactor room

Thanks, glad you like it.
