how would one go about taking down an incoming missile? turrets do not seem to want to attack them

Consider just fixing the merge block, I use this with Lidar Mapping Script and Lidar Missile script, which worked great but API update broke the merge blocks. Updating the blocks would be all that is needed for my use. I'd be willing to help, but I'd have to see the source to see what needs addressing. Maybe consider open sourcing it on github or something.

Actually I was thinking of getting back into modding, and update this mod. This is something i would be doing if so. Let me look into getting this mod up to speed again. if it looks like i will not have time to work on it i may give you the files. As it is, there are so many "forks" of this mod on the workshop it is hard to keep them all straight, so making yet another one is just going to muddy the waters even more.

Im hoping to create Payload parts for the new Automations AI blocks that would be compatible with this mod. Is there any chance you could make the original model files available? im having nothing but failure trying to import the mwm files

i am not sure what the status of this is. The witch had been maintaining it for a while, and there were several others that uploaded it, so at one point in time it was on the workshop 3 or 4 different places. I have not even playes SE in years. i keep thinking of coming back and play some more, and bring this mod up to date. but so far it just does not seem to happen.

Ok i am officially passing the buck here. i have given The Witch all my design files but will not remove this mod thus breaking old servers. but please switch to the new version on the page started by The Witch to get the DX-11 and fixed parts.

the fix did not work.. sorry but they changed the way the blocks are defined in the game so any block with a new definition format will no longer work. this is about 4 of them i think. I really do want to get time to work on this again and fix these issues but it is very time consuming, so i need a few weeks where i can just work on this with no distractions from the wife and kids and work etc. i really will try to get an update out for this as i do not want the mod to die.

Also a question we cant place antennas just bec dx11 ? I tried to launch game both 9 nd 11 but dsnt worked or the games dystem fully changed if you need any balance/improve to stats of block

yes i know there are some parts that recent updates have broken. and i know DX11 would be nice. but my life is in a state that i do not have time to work on this... i have not given up on it. i just need to get to a pooint that i have free time again.

As best as I can tell, this mod is broken. I can't place timers, programable blocks, and antenas. They show green, but refuse to be placed.

.... Did I mention DX11 ?

well.... not7 and i have talked a bit and basically we did not say you do yours and i will do mine, but that was sort of the plan. however to make a small block version of this mod will require far more work than the DX-11 update is taking, and that is taking more time than i can give it at the moment. if after DX-11 and all the parts i plan to make are done and then Not7 is still lagging behind i will look into a small block conversion. so while i am not going to say it "will" happen i will say it is a "definate maybe."

Right now the not7CD's - Torpedo Hull Set is not supported by DX11. Is there any possibility that you'll make a small-ship version of this mod?

Yes and it reqiures i get time to work on it again. unfortunatly life has cvaught up with me and i do not have the endless hours at work i had before where i could work on this. I am no longer sitting at a desk all night with nothing to do, so this is sort of on the back burner

Torpedo Hardpoint is designed to mount on your ship. as an "under wing" hard point. this gives you the ability to cary the torps and fire them like an air to Air missile for your large block ships.

The issue you may be seeing is that there is a limitation to the "merge block" that makes all merge blocks have to be the same block. thus the "Hard Point" and the corresponding "C&C interface" while being merge blocks in reality do not work quite right. there are many posts about this early on in the comments section if you want to go read up on the limitations and the work arounds. but until this underlying "feature" of SE is changed the hardpoint and C&C combination will always be a bit problimatic.

This mod has more potential than most I have seen.

Once compound blocks have been introduced, and the merge block limitation fixed, this mod will dominate SE.

yes the antenna is fixed but not uploaded
i will look at every block before the new ptch is uploaded as i have not had any reports of timers and prog blocks.

I believe the problem stems with the <Definition> tags; you may need to long-form them now (for example, <Definition xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_RadioAntennaDefinition"> for the Antenna). Also, there are some new variables that should be transferred over as well.
