A lot of cool ideas, but I don't get what I'm supposed to do to get the good ending. It seems to require a lot of costly symptoms but only to of them are easy enough to find... Feels a bit too random. I think it would be less frustrating if there was a clearer path towards the good end.

How do you tag a plague

Very interesting concept of virus that will evolve deadly symphtoms for himself, and you have to evolve counters to get "good" ending.
Still, it is way easier to kill them all, cause plague is pretty deadly on its own. All you need is tojust wait from certain moment... or keep evolving deadly transmission and help virus get symphtoms.
Still, like it! Good work! Hope to see more interesting plagues from you.

Thanks for the info!

The movie you're referring to is The Cave; they're similar movies, but The Descent is about regressed humans living underground. I'm not nitpicking; just wanting to give accurate info. The Cave is a good monster movie if you want to watch it to understand the source.

The inspiration came from a movie where some people enter a cave and a disease makes some of them more adapted to cave conditions. They also have to deal with long time infected which look like monsters. I believe the movie is called The Descent, because I used pictures of those monsters.

If you liked this scenario, I recommend trying the second version which uses the Simian Flu template. Link is in the description.

interesting

Thinking about it, I could make an alternate version with the Simian Flu. The "ape" population would be people who are prone to mental regression and cave life. The "human" population would be people who resist mental regression and the urge to live in caves.
Thanks for the suggestion! :)

This disease have a potential. But it's maked as "Virus Type" disease which is pity. This should be "Simian Flu" disease type because with Simian Flu you can make "Abilities" like colony migration, defense, attactking, etc... Please, edit this to Simian Flu diease and re-create abilities

infernalthing  [author] 31 Jan, 2015 @ 8:06am
It must be in the subscribed section in the custom scenarios. That's where all the scenarios you've subscribed to are.

Fighting of rats negates the lethality from the aggressive rats transmission. Maybe I forgot to put a minus there. I will check.
itsmes3 30 Jan, 2015 @ 5:56pm
Being able to fight off rats makes the disease more lethal, was this on purpose?
