Not bad, but I had to check if that first fling is intended. As qrioso mentioned, the misalignment of the floor and ceiling surfaces are not clear enough if you're doing the correct thing or if it was implemented in order to prevent that double fling.

Great puzzle. I've already played @Quaternary's brilliant 'CH', which took me ages to crack, and @Toncica's 'White Room', so it didn't take me too long to work this one out, but actually doing it took me a few attempts.

Yeah this was definitely the worst of the maps I made for White Room. I still haven't made a version that I'm particularly happy with, but the best I could come up with was Double Double . Quaternary has some good versions as well (click here )

This was though, not logically but becasue of the first double flinging where the withe panels (ceiling and floor) are not aligned and the flinging is difficult and had to retry a dozen times. . Except this, good map. Thanks

double double,i actually went back and replayed that map just to see the correlation. i dont know why im blanking on this one.

i think im going to need step by step instructions lol. i tried every surface but i couldnt figure out how to keep the portal on the ceiling of the exit room.

That's a clever solution, I've known about it for a long time. Glad you came up with it :) the intended solution involves flinging like in double double. It's the same move at the ending as in the beginning.

thats what i thought. ive never seen any of your maps not use every surface. i figured i didnt do it right,but ive been trying for a week.

No, that was unintended. This map is about a year and a half old, I don't exactly remember the solution, but I NEVER design red herrings or include useless portal surfaces... the intended solution must use everything at least once. :)

oh my gosh was that it? i jumped off the cube into a portal through the ceiling in the exit room and that got me high enough to reach the funnel. was that the intended solution? were all the other portal surfaces red heirings? love it haha

You don't need to, it's just so the player can get back up to the exit room if he wishes.
