Addon not working, and can't find the other addon. If you can give a link or addon name, i more easily can find it. Or the addon not exists/removed.

aww man, why get rid of exp fodder. these squishy moving targets are such useful resources when it comes to unit promo farming and CS rep fodder, especially if a camp is on a CS border

The mod doesn't work... are there anything i have to do or have to stop that damn respawn 5 tiles from my cities, when I have all my units fighting barbarians in the other end of the map.

I'm currently thinking about installing the original civ... because as i remember it, you only had to kill the barbarians once, and they weren't popping up places i had been.

I'd use it if it only stopped them respawning once something along the lines of either one person reaches the industrial era or everyone's reached the medieval era.

i Agree with Hellwolf95, alot of civs need the barbarians so maybe they should respawn but they should not have an xcom squad.

LOL barbarians didnt respawn when i used this mod but some how they comed in force and destroyed my empire there was whole empire of barbarians dont never mess with barbarians XD

well could you create a mod that caps the era they can get to

I thought the point of extending LOS later in the game was to prevent barb camp spawns.

I created this mod for my own use but it worked so well I decided to share it with everyone else. As with all other mods you have the final choice on using it or not. Also you can use the original ptr1ck created mod instead (which I mention above). In his mod he still allows for barbarian camps to respawn but at a much smaller percentage chance of that happening then the default percentage.

I like the idea of this, but some civs heavily rely on the barbarians. Germany can recruit them, the Aztecs gain culture for killing them, etc. Those actually aren't good examples but there have to be others that I can't remember.

I tend to agree with most comments here. I didn't mind barbarians in the game but found the camps constantly respawning a bloody nuisance and irritation. I just wish the authors of the game would allow a game setting to allow for turning off respawning. As it is now it's all (barbarians allowed) or nothing (barbarians turned off). At least now you have something in the middle to choose from.

Wow! Thank you so much for this mod - It means I can play with barbarians on and not have to worry about the constant camps in the late game :3

Maybe you could fix it to where you can capture their encampment & settle it into a city? It would keep you from making settlers early in the game.

perhaps increase the strength of barbarians in early game to compensate the lack of respawning?

Respawning barbs is a necessary evil...
They keep you on your toes. ^^

Thank you so much!!! Respawning Barbarians are so annoying.

My god, finally, something like this is out, I hate it when I play YNAEMP and Australia is just covered in barbarians.
